The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kanye West made another public plea to Kim Kardashian during his recent concert, which reportedly "embarrassed" Kim Kardashian. Kanye recently performed at the Los Angeles Coliseum alongside Drake, during a Larry Hoover benefit concert for thousands of screaming fans. Kim was in attendance at the show, along with two of the children she shares with Kanye, North, and Saint West. When Kanye changed the lyrics to one of his songs, in order to beg his ex-wife to "come back" to him, Kim reportedly left the show and "immediately" called her divorce lawyer.
Kanye has spent the last month sending public messages. His goal is to let Kim know that he wants her back. Kanye has done press interviews, posted news articles, and even shared a Thanksgiving prayer where he's expressed his hope that God will bring his wife back to him. Kanye's significant attitude shift comes after more than a year of him living separately from Kim, before her February divorce filing.
While performing his hit song "Runaway" at his benefit concert, Kanye switched around the lyrics to say, “Run right back to me, more specifically Kimberly." While many fans assumed that Kim was impressed by Kanye's sentimental gesture, it turns out that Kim didn't like what he did at all.
Kim Really Wants To Move On
The day after the concert, Kim filed legal documents to become officially single, and to change her legal name back to Kim Kardashian, minus the "West." An insider reported that Kanye changing his song lyrics at the concert brought Kim to her "boiling point." The source added, “This absolutely is true regarding Kim filing documents to become legally single and change her last name back to just Kardashian," as per HollywoodLife. Kim was sitting in the audience with their kids, her daughter's friends, and her half-sister Kendall Jenner when Kanye begged her to come back via his song lyrics.
Kim Seems Happy With Pete Davidson
The move was reportedly the final straw for Kim, who was recently spotted on some dates with comedian, Pete Davidson. "He put her on the spot and embarrassed her in front of their kids and her family by saying ‘Run back to me Kimberly’,” the source explained. Since Kanye is saying that in front of their growing kids, Kim is concerned that they're catching on, and starting to get confused over the status of their parents' relationship.
Kim knew she had to do something in order to make it clear to Kanye that their marriage was over. “She contacted her lawyer immediately," the insider said, adding, "She didn’t see any other choice. Kanye is not only upsetting Kim and her family, but he is confusing their children with the things he is saying. Her kids are getting older and beginning to understand what he’s saying and what is going on."
Will Kanye Ever Get Kim Back?
The couple spent months not speaking before and after Kim filed for divorce. They became friendly again over the summer, and Kim claims that Kanye agreed to continue their divorce process on amicable terms. However, when Kim started dating Pete, Kanye started making public pleas to get her back. He even claimed that he hasn't seen any divorce papers. That will likely soon change, as Kim made a bold move after his concert. "She had to make it clear to him that this is not able to be repaired and that it is over," the source said. They continued, "And if he didn’t see the documents before like he is claiming, he is surely going to see them now.”
