Two months after Kim Kardashian of Keeping Up With The Kardashians filed for divorce from Kanye West, the rapper has been seen wearing his wedding ring. The move has fans wondering if the rap/fashion mogul is still holding on to his marriage to the reality star. Sources have said the two haven't been on the best terms since the split was announced. But could Kanye be hinting at a peaceful end to the West union?
There were reports of Kanye rolling his eyes when he got served the divorce papers. The SKIMS founder had been battling with the decision since last summer when she reportedly linked back up with her longtime divorce lawyer Laura Wasser. The superstar couple had hit a rough spot after nearly seven years of marriage with them living separate lives away from each other. Since the filing, insiders say Kanye changed his phone numbers and only allows Kim to contact him through his security. Most recently, insiders claimed he was the one who initiated the divorce.
The Yeezy founder has mastered the art of staying under the radar with rare public sightings. Fans were excited to see him included in a recent pic DJ Khaled posted to promote his new album. "TRUE STORY: KANYE STOPPED BY MY HOUSE AT 8 AM THE OTHER DAY! I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS COMING," he shared in the post's caption. "HE HAD @chefmelissazuniga make him SOME EGGS WITH KETCHUP AND VEGAN BACON And we listened to #KHALEDKHALED." The hip-hop producer went on to explain Kanye's pose in the photo that showed him with his arms raised in praise. "You know when you get this expression that it’s sounding AMAZING! this album GODS HANDS IS ALL OVER IT," Khaled added.
The closeup shot of Kanye showed that the billionaire designer was still wearing his wedding band despite his pending divorce. It's not the first time he's been spotted wearing his ring since the filing. But with him rarely being seen, fans can only wonder if the "Bound" rapper ever stopped wearing it. It's a sign of the former couple possibly being in a better place despite all the source reports claiming otherwise. The KKW Beauty founder recently shared a few photos while studying for her law degree and wearing the newest Yeezy sneakers.
Her choice of shoe appeared to be a nod to her estranged husband as they continue their divorce proceedings. Maybe Kanye is using the wedding ring to let his wife know he still "bound" to the billionaire beauty mogul. He might've learned of all the A-listers seeking a chance to date Kim.
