Kim Kardashian and her family took the high road and saved face by wishing Kanye West a happy birthday on social media. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star shared a series of posts professing the love she'll always have for the rap/fashion mogul despite their current divorce. Her post came after her sister Khloe Kardashian referred to Kanye as her 'brother for life.'

Fans were wondering how the reality star family would address the elephant in the room when Kanye's birthday approached. It's been over three months since the SKIMS founder moved forward with the tough decision to file for divorce from the Yeezy founder. The two had been living separate lives since last year with little to no communication. Since their split, they've worked out how to co-parent their four children while Kanye has been fueling dating rumors with model Irina Shayk. All the while, Kim has been leaning on her family while continuing her business endeavors.

When Kanye's birthday rolled around on Tuesday, fans were surprised to Khloe be the first to publicly wish the "Stronger" rapper a happy birthday. "Happy birthday to my brother for life!!! Have the best birthday Ye! Sending you love and endless blessings," she captioned a couples pic of her and Tristan standing alongside Kim and Kanye in the tropical blue waters. It took Kim a whole two hours after Khloe to post her own celebratory post of her estranged ex-husband. "Happy Birthday Love U for Life," she captioned a throwback family photo of her, Kanye, Noth, Saint, and baby Chicago.

Over on Twitter, she shared the same post and added another tweet showing a young Kanye smiling in an elementary school pic. Her captions were vague and short in tone. Not at all as endearing as Khloe's tweet. After one fan called Khloe "petty" for appearing to show extra love to Kanye despite how heartbroken Kim is over their split, the Good American founder shot back. “You don’t think me and my sisters talk about one another’s feelings?” she asked in Kim's comments section. “We are with one another everyday. This is MY FAMILY. Not yours!”

She reminded their followers that just because they share a good portion of their lives on reality TV, that doesn't mean they know what goes on behind the scenes. “Don't comment as if you in the know unless you are actually in the know,” Khloe quipped. With all the Keeping Up with the Kardashians drama surrounding their social media posts, it's a wonder why they opted to share the celebratory posts considering Kanye's absence from social media.
