Jonathan Cheban, who is known for his appearances of Keeping up with the Kardashians, shared a larger-than-life cake he received for his birthday this past weekend. Jonathan, who's also known as Foodgod, is notorious for his love of food and over-the-top menu items, so it is no surprise he would be given a cake containing a sculpture of himself. What a way to kick off his forty-seventh year.
Fans were introduced to Jonathan on KUWTK as one of Kim Kardashian's best friends. The pair initially met after being seated next to each other at a birthday party and instantly hit it off. Since then, the two have been thick-as-thieves, even wearing couples costumes together for Halloween. Other than being known as Kim's friend, Jonathan was successful in public relations, even opening up his own PR firm. After having several stints on reality TV, Jonathan left his career in public relations to begin a career in the food industry.
On Sunday, the 47-year-old shared a video to Instagram of the massive cake he received for his birthday. The cake included a massive sculpture of himself atop a round pizza with sushi, tacos, and other delicious foods all made of the dessert. "Blessed to have another birthday!!" he wrote in his caption, adding, "Especially when @marcanthony is singing Happy Birthday and the @davegrutman for always making it perfect!!" Jonathan thanked the bakery, Divine Delicacies Cakes in Miami, for always making him "the most original and fun cakes" and for giving the cake sculpture of himself abs. In the video, Jonathan cannot believe how good he looks as a cake and even pretends to take a bit out of the cake version of himself.
Jonathan then proceeds to cut the pizza part of the cake and takes a large bite out of the slice. After he gets a mouthful, he cannot believe how amazing the taste is. Fans took to his comment section to let him know what they thought of his 2021 birthday cake. One fan said "that is not you" with several crying-laughing emojis, while another wrote, "Oh my gosh that looks delicious." Besides praising the yummy dessert, fans and friends wished the Foodgod a happy birthday. He also mentioned in the video how his cake last year fell apart. The cake from his forty-sixth birthday fell after Jonathan wanted to move the cake into his car to another destination.
While there wasn't one Kardashian or Jenner in sight at Jonathan's birthday celebrations, he seemed to have a wonderful time with his Miami friends. The party may have been smaller compared to years before, but at least he had famous Latin singer/songwriter, Marc Anthony there to sing him "happy birthday." With Marc Anthony and his larger-than-life cake there, Jonathan was able to make the most of his 47th birthday.
