After the ending of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the Kar-Jenners are almost back in action on Hulu, and it's time to take a closer look at what fans can expect from the new series. The Disney-owned streaming service is clearly prepared to pay the hefty salaries that the famous family wants. Even Scott Disick said he'd only be joining if he got a pretty penny. The new show will undoubtedly cover the family's 2021 media highlights, but there's still an air of mystery about it.

No matter what form the new Hulu show takes, fans are glad to know it's coming after a bittersweet KUWTK ending. The final season was full of sentimentality, especially when it came to Kourtney Kardashian and Scott's relationship. While the family teased fans with the possibility of a reunion between the co-parents, it didn't quite get off the ground. With so much of the show's early plot based on Kourtney and Scott's romance, it made sense to center their relationship in the end. While Kourtney's now happier than ever with Travis Barker, there's a lot going on with the family's romances and internal family dynamics, which fans can't wait to catch up on.

Khloe Kardashian teased on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the show would be premiering in early 2022. Khloe told Ellen about her Halloween ideas and also shared what fans could expect from the show. She said, "I think in a few months, either end of January, early February." When Ellen was surprised it would be so soon, Khloe continued, "That's the beauty of Hulu streaming. We get to have a much quicker turnaround than previously." A quicker release is probably a relief for the family, who had grown tired of relieving difficult moments almost a year after the fact. Fans had also grown bored of the slow release format, as those keeping up the most were already up to speed. Khloe also revealed that she had cameras for the show at the interview itself.

There's plenty more to cover, from Kim Kardashian's divorce and Kourtney's engagement to Khloe's never-ending entanglement with Tristan Thompson. However, the family reportedly removed Travis Scott's storyline from the series after the Astroworld catastrophe. Cameras were seen in the background at Kris Jenner's birthday party and also followed her to lunch with Scott, giving hints about the show's content. However, Kim told the Wall Street Journal that the show would reveal more of their business lives and less of their family drama. The choice makes sense, as in later years, KUWTK plots seemed increasingly fabricated. The family was reluctant to share their deepest and darkest secrets onscreen, so only the superficial drama made it onto screens.

The balance between private and public seems more proactively laid out on the new show. Kris, who was eager to start filming, is confident that fans will love it. She's also probably optimistic that the new business angle will bring the family more hard-earned respect. With billion-dollar enterprises in all their midst, the Kar-Jenners might even be able to guide fans toward financial success of their own. No matter what final form the Keeping Up With the Kardashians Hulu spin-off takes, fans who are missing their favorite reality family will be tuning in.
