Earlier this week, Caitlyn Jenner celebrated her 71st birthday. Her daughters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, showed their appreciation via social media in addition to other members of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians family.

Caitlyn Jenner’s last year around the sun was a successful one. She was a fan favorite on the 2019 season of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, the British reality TV series where numerous celebs live together in a jungle environment. The Olympian ended up in fourth place in the competition. Shortly after leaving the jungle, Caitlyn was spotted with her partner, Sophia Hutchins. Sophia is 24 years old and also a transgender woman. She frequently speaks out about her experiences within the trans community. Hutchins is the CEO of Lumasol and was previously a board member for the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation as well. Caitlyn and Sophia first met in 2015 and appeared together on I Am Cait several times. They live together in Jenner’s Malibu home and are often photographed hand in hand, but they’ve never confirmed their romance. The duo prefers to refer to each other as "partners." Caitlyn’s last year brought successes in her personal and work life which were celebrated during her birthday on Wednesday.

Kendall shared numerous vintage photos from childhood and Caitlyn’s Olympic career. “Happy birthday dad!” and “Love you!” were a few of the captions accompanying the photos of Jenner. In addition to Caitlyn’s work in the entertainment industry, she’s continuing to operate her charity, the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation. In mid-2019, Jenner surprised Map Pesqueira, a 19-year-old transgender college student, with a scholarship. Map had previously received a scholarship from the military, but was disqualified because of a new anti-transgender policy implmented by the Pentagon. “This whole military ban… I’m devastated, I can’t believe it’s happening,” Caitlyn commented on the matter. Jenner’s charitable efforts over the past year are recognized on her 71st birthday.

The messages shared over social media by Caitlyn’s family for her birthday were sweet, loving and heartwarming. It’s wonderful to see that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians clan continues to celebrate milestones and occasions with her. Jenner’s last year has been a successful and inspiring one, we wish her many more!
