Amid Kanye West's divorce from Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, he has seemingly returned to dating fashion models. Prior to marrying Kim, Kanye had a reputation for dating women within the fashion industry. A look back at Kanye's dating history shows that he has gotten cozy with a variety of women who pose for a living. Since his divorce from Kim, Kanye has started stepping out with models once again.
Kanye has a long history of dating women who work in the fashion business. During the start of his rap career, around 2002, Kanye was dating fashion designer Alexis Phifer, until they called off their engagement in 2007. After their split, Kanye briefly dated model and actress, Brooke Crittendon. By 2008, Kanye enjoyed a short-lived romance with the same model that appeared in his "Flashing Lights" video, Sessilee Lopez. He followed that up by dating model, Amber Rose. The two dated from 2008 to 2010, and Amber was by his side during his infamous rant against Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs.
After parting ways with Amber Rose, Kanye was rumored to have briefly dated a former Miss Universe, the Albanian-Swiss model, Angela Martini. Kanye followed that romance up by dating another model, Selita Ebanks, in 2010. Selita and Kanye reportedly sparked up a romance after she appeared in his "Runaway" music video. During that same year, Kanye was spotted with Pussycat Dolls member, Melody Thornton. However, their romance didn't last too long. There were also rumors that Kanye dated model Chanel Iman, but she denied the reports, telling Us Weekly that she always "loved his music," but never got romantic with him.
In 2011, there were rumors that Kanye might've had a flirty relationship with the famous model, Kate Upton. However, nothing was ever confirmed. After a series of rumors about his flings, Kanye decided to settle down with Kim in 2012. The couple would remain together for nearly 10 years and enjoy almost seven years of marriage before calling it quits. One interesting fact is that Kim has the same birthday as Kanye's ex, Amber Rose. While Amber has hinted at the possibility that Kanye might've cheated on her with Kim during their time together, Kanye and Kim never confirmed that. The former couple Kimye welcomed four children together before pulling the plug on Kanye's first marriage (and Kim's third).
Since their split, Kanye has returned to dating models. He first rebounded with Russian model, Irina Shayk. By summer's end, he was linked to 22-year-old model, Venetria. Following reports confirming their recent split, Kanye has been linked to model Yasmin Lopez. Most recently, he enjoyed a dinner date with model and actress, Julia Fox. As he works to finalize his divorce from the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, Kanye is seemingly going back to his love of women who are involved in the fashion industry.
