Travis Scott addressed speculation over his recently-deleted Instagram account. Many fans thought the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star deactivated his IG page after getting trolled on Halloween over his chocolate brown Batman costume. But now, he's setting the record straight.

The Houston rapper is known for keeping a low profile on social media. But he took to Instagram on Saturday to show off his Bruce Wayne-inspired Halloween costume. The rapper shared a short video walking to his own chocolate Batmobile-ish car, which conveniently matched the brown color of his suit. However, despite the theatrics, many of his followers immediately started trolling his costume idea. "Man dressed up as Count chocula," said one Twitter user.

While Travis was at the center of a series of jokes, fans noticed the hip hop artist completely cleared his Instagram page. The timing of deleting his Instagram account left many believing he left social media due to all the trolling over his melanated Batman suit. But, that's not the case. A source for the rapper told Page Six that Travis decided to temporarily deactivate his social media because he is “focusing on his family.” With the approaching holiday season, Travis aimed to spend quality time with his two-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, and on-again-off-again girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.

“Halloween had nothing to do with it,” the insider declared. “He is focusing on his family and their well-being and wants to influence his fans to do the same instead of being so consumed with social media.” Travis and the KUWTK star have been spending time together co-parenting Stormi during the quarantine. It was reported that they also enjoy secret dinner dates outside of the public eye. The source added how “important” it is for the “Antidote” rapper to take a break from social media, especially during “such a critical time in the world right now.”

With a looming international health pandemic and a monumental presidential election underway, Travis found it necessary to unplug from all the tweets and IG comments. Additionally, rapper Kanye West has been promoting his own presidential campaign, despite the lack of public support from the Kardashian-Jenner family. In early October, Travis and Kylie got together to celebrate pumpkin carving day with Stormi, as well as her first day of virtual learning. As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, it's possible that Travis just wants to enjoy what matters most.
