Rapper and Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner's ex Travis Scott surprisingly deactivated his Instagram account over the weekend following trolling over his Batman Halloween costume. The Houston emcee added a splash of innovation to his rendition of Batman, but many of his followers weren't feeling it.

Travis Scott has been dominating the hip hop scene with his devout fans and ability to market himself to the masses. The Astroworld rapper most recently made hip-hop history with his McDonald's partnership that included his own signature meal and merch line. He also recently signed a new deal with Sony's highly-anticipated PS5 release. Travis' ability to connect with his fans in a way that leads to dollar signs for major brands is what is setting his music career apart from his counterparts. Additionally, his relationship with Kylie Jenner puts him in a lane like no other rap artist....except for Kanye West.

Despite how well received he is by fans, many felt differently this Halloween when Cactus Jack debuted his chocolate brown version of the signature Batman suit. The rapper shared a short video he shot going to his Batmobile like the iconic Bruce Wayne character. The photo he shared showed him posing in his brown Batman suit next to a matching chocolate brown Batmobile-ish car. However, many of his followers immediately started trolling his costume idea. "Man dressed up as Count chocula," said one user. Another claimed, "the costume is not even the cringiest thing in the photo." Travis' outfit was captured by a Twitter user who invited even more criticism of the ensemble:

But what happened next shocked all of his fans. The rapper decided to deactivate his Instagram account and delete all of his photos. The move was so sudden, many started to believe Travis took an IG hiatus after being trolled over his Batman costume. "Y’all bullied Travis Scott’s costume so much he deactivated his Instagram," one person said on Twitter, noted by XXL. "People really bullied Travis Scott into deactivating his Instagram just cuz he wanted to post his costume," another person replied. There were many who came to the defense of the "SICKO MODE" rapper, calling out trolls for being insensitive to the celebrity's feelings.

"People think celebrities aren’t real people or don’t have emotions and feelings ... I’m tired of it!" one user said. "Travis Scott just deleted his Instagram cuz ppl made fun of his Halloween costume ... Ppl can’t live cuz y’all internet bullies love to think ppl don’t feel anything." Travis has yet to respond to the speculation. He's known for his lowkey lifestyle, but many fans think he will return to social media soon. After all, he has an upcoming Playstation deal to promote.
