Shanna Moakler continues to deny claims that she is jealous of Travis Barker's new romance with Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian, but Shanna and Travis' teenage daughter Alabama Barker appears to be Team Kourtney. The social media influencer recently posted up a video lip-syncing a song containing lyrics of feeling abandoned by a mother. The post came off as a clear jab at her mother amid her father's growing relationship with Kourtney.
The fans have been praising Kourtney and Travis's bond since its very start. The pair has been packing on the PDA on social media, teasing much more of their romance and time together. Often seen in some of their posts is Travis' 15-year-old daughter, Alabama. Her connection with the Poosh founder is evident as the two are seen smiling and enjoying family outings together. Meanwhile, Travis's ex-wife Shanna has shut down claims of shading the new couple whenever she was asked about it in the press. Alas, her social media activity continues to prove otherwise.
While Shanna Moakler has gushed over how much her kids love Kourtney Kardashian and all the gifts that the reality star buys them, her comments often come off like band-handed compliments. The possible bitterness on Shanna's end has become clearer, and it looks like there's even more family drama going on behind the scenes. Alabama recently took to TikTok to post up a video lip-syncing to Kehlani's "The Letter". The clip Alabama chose to upload includes lyrics about feeling abandoned by your mother: “And every girl needs a mother / And damn it, I needed you / Instead you dug for cover / And you ran from the truth / And like kids do / You waited around for proof.”
It didn't take Alabama's followers too long to put things together and notice the subliminal shade that was being sent toward her mother Shanna. “TBH, I remember your mom not really emotionally being there," one follower said. "I hope she can change before it’s too late,” someone else added. Others suggested that Alabama should let Kourtney make up for the void that she might be feeling in her life. “Kourtney can be your new mom,” one user said. “Just talk to Kourtney," commented another fan.
To her credit, Shanna has admitted to her three kids wanting to spend more time with their rockstar dad. During a recent Q&A on Instagram, she explained why her kids are often seen spending more time with the Blink-182 drummer. “How come your kids are always at their dad’s [and] rarely with you?” the follower asked, as captured by InTouch Weekly. “Because he lives behind two gates, has a mega mansion, and is cooler than me … LOL,” Shanna replied. The two continue to co-parent Landon and Alabama Barker, as well as Travis's stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out between Alabama, Shanna, Travis, and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star.
