Scott Disick revealed to his ex, Kourtney Kardashian, in a sneak peak for the next episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians that he plans on checking himself back into rehab amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The Flip It Like Disick star became a part of the Kardashian clan when he began dating Kourtney in 2006 at a party in Mexico. The former couple have been on and off throughout their relationship, but things began to change when Kourtney became pregnant with their first child. They two went on to have two more children before officially splitting up in July 2015. Now, they are parents of three and are working together to coparent them the best way they can.

During the teaser for the upcoming episode, Scott calls Kourtney to explain why he wants to check back into rehab. Scott has gone to rehab in the past after suffering from trauma due to the death of both his parents, who died within months of each other, and his past relationship issues and breakup with Kourtney. “I was just thinking, this whole COVID, staying in, no structure, it doesn’t work for me,” he says while speaking to his ex on the phone. “It’s making me feel like I just can’t handle staying home, not working. Recently all I’ve been doing is trying to find things to do.” He explains that he even tried to rent a house in Malibu, but it did not work out after the press found out he was staying there. At a time when no one could leave their house, Scott felt more depressed and anxious. If he did not do something quick, he fears he will make a bad decision. He also realizes he hasn't properly grieved his parents and his depression is stopping him from being the best father he can. The reality star informs Kourtney that he plans to go for a least a month to regroup. Watch the full clip below:

Once Scott makes his decision, Kourtney agrees to fully take care of their three kids – Mason, 10, and Reign, 5, and Penelope, 8 – until her ex is ready to come home. Scott's decision to check into rehab catches Kourtney a little off guard at first. “I am caught a little off guard, because for the first time Scott isn’t being asked to go away,” the mother of three reveals. “He isn’t having an issue with alcohol or drugs. It’s his idea so it feels really different.” Ultimately, Kourtney supports his decision, as she wants Scott to be the best father he can for their children. Not only is this good for their kids, it's helpful for her as well.

Scott entered the facility back in May, citing past traumas as the reason for his stay, US Weekly  confirmed. Unfortunately, Scott left after just a few hours after a photo of him entering the facility leaked online. His family always encouraged him to go to rehab and were happy he was making an effort to get better. Fans will have to see how this all unfolds during the Thursday, November 19 episode of KUWTK.
