Amelia Gray Hamlin acted as stepmother this past weekend as she and Keeping With The Kardashian star Scott Disick spent date night with his kids. Even though they have only been dating for eight months, Amelia and Scott are already getting serious about their relationship. Dating rumors sparked after they were both spotted getting cozy at Kendall Jenner's Halloween party in October 2020. However, the relationship wasn't confirmed until a few weeks later when they were photographed holding hands in Miami.
The public was initially shocked by this relationship with Amelia Gray Hamlin considering that Scott Disick had just ended a three-year relationship with Sofia Richie, who was also 19-years-old when she dated Scott. Even Amelia's parents, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin were taken aback by the new relationship. However, they have both warmed up to the idea but are still hoping she and Scott are just a phase.
On Saturday, Scott Disick shared a series of photos to his Instagram Story of his Friday night out with the model and his kids. The photos that Scott posted included his nine-year-old daughter Penelope and his six-year-old son Reign. One shared photo (seen below) featured him and Amelia posing at the end of a dock with his youngest son next to them while pinching his nose. "Great night, just a little smelly for reign out on these old docks," the 38-year-old caption the snap. Scott shared a picture of his daughter as well, as she was dressed in all pink while sitting on the hood of a Mercedes. His oldest son, Mason, was not included in any of the family photos, so it's unclear if he was present for the outing.
The blended family outing took place less than two weeks after Amelia's father, Harry, admitted in an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that he thought her relationship with Scott was "odd." He felt the 18-year age gap was unusual and difficult for him to get past. Alas, Harry then mentioned his former relationship with actress Ursula Andress, who was 14 years his senior. In any case, Harry isn't the only one who was taken aback by the age gap. During the KUWTK reunion, Scott defended his relationship with Amelia after getting scolded by viewers. "I don’t go out looking for young girls," he revealed to Andy Cohen, adding, "They happen to be attracted to me because I look young. That’s what I’m telling myself."
Even though some fans believe that Amelia and Scott's relationship is strange, they do appear to be in love. They may be in a public relationship, but they don't show much of it on social media. Now that the former Keeping Up With The Kardashian star feels comfortable enough to bring Amelia around his children, it seems their relationship is a lot more serious than the public may have expected.
