Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kylie Jenner is getting called out over one of her Kylie Skin products due to its high demand during the ongoing pandemic. Overall, Kylie is facing backlash for a hand sanitizer that she's selling as part of her skincare line.

After selling a 51 percent stake of Kylie Cosmetics to Coty in November 2020, KUWTK star and entrepreneur Kylie Jenner moved closer to billionaire status and inked a partnership to expand her brand. She soon added Kylie Skin to the Kylie Cosmetics empire and has been using her large social media following to promote the brand's extensive product line. What started as just a series of lip kits that would sell out within minutes after being released grew into a full-on cosmetics brand that is now adding skincare to the mix. The success of Kylie's company even landed her on the cover of Forbes that called her the "youngest self-made billionaire." Despite the title being snatched by the outlet a year later, the magazine still named Kylie the highest-paid celebrity two years in a row. Now, amid the heightened concern for personal hygiene amid the coronavirus pandemic, Kylie Skin appears to have added a new product to the roster that is generating some controversy.

On Tuesday, Kylie Jenner took to Twitter to announce her new $7 hand sanitizer“My @kylieskin hand sanitizer is here!! 80% alcohol, fast drying, and formulated with glycerin to prevent dryness!'” the beauty mogul wrote in a tweet seen below. Her momager Kris Jenner supported the promo with some of her own, saying: “Kylie Skin Hand Sanitizer is here! So many incredible benefits in this product.” However, unlike how fast her beauty products sell out, the fans were quick to call out the new additionthis time around. “Kylie really made kylie skin hand sanitizer... Like? Let’s profit off a pandemic,” one user tweeted, as captured by Page Six. Another Twitter user added, “Wow making a buck off covid. Low.” Yet another brought up her sister Kendall's controversial Pepsi commercial: “This feels like the spiritual successor to the [Kendall] Jenner Pepsi commercial.

The backlash comes during increased criticism over this family's lifestyle and product line choices. Last year, Kim Kardashian was called out when she added face masks for her SKIMS collection. Additionally, the KUWTK clan has been under heightened scrutiny for still relishing in the joys of their lavish lifestyle while millions of others struggle through an economic crisis. Though the current climate has nothing to do with the famous family, many still take issue with them showing off their luxury-filled lives that most can't afford to enjoy, particularly now.

Nonetheless, Kylie Jenner and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians family are no strangers to criticism and often take it in stride. Hence why the tweet is still up and the product is still being sold.
