Kris Jenner recently sat down with Ryan Seacrest to talk about the ending of the iconic reality TV series Keeping Up With the Kardashians. The news isn't just hard for Jenner to digest, but it is difficult for the fans as well.

The long-running E! reality series is beloved many millions of fans. People flocked to this show to get all the latest Kardashian/Jenner drama and got to see how it all unfolded. According to The Daily Mail, 64-year-old Kris Jenner gave an exclusive interview to KUWTK executive producer and co-creator Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, where she talked about the family's decision to end the series after 20 seasons in 2021. While talking with Seacrest on his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Jenner found it difficult to hold back tears. "You're going to make me cry all over again. It really hasn't [hit me yet]. I got very, very emotional this morning," the famous momager revealed. "I woke up and was in the gym at 5 with Khloé and Kim, and we just kind of sat there and looked at each other and said, 'Whoa, what a ride,'" she added. Jenner revealed to the talk show host that the whole family decided this was the right time to "...take a minute and breathe and everybody slow down a bit… figure out what our next steps are." Seacrest also praised Jenner on an episode of the show Live! With Kelly & Ryan, where he is a co-host, "I almost feel like I’m family with [Kris], and she is truly an amazing partner...how she manages family and how she manages an incredible empire. It’s no small task, and she has really propelled that franchise and those businesses into what they are today."

KUWTK  helped make Kim Kardashian and her siblings Kourtney, Khloé, Rob, and Kylie and Kendall Jenner household names. The reality series launched their careers in the fashion and beauty business, making two of the sister billionaires. There was no specific reason as to why they wanted to end the show, but a rep for E! said in a statement that they "respect the family's decision to live their lives without our cameras." This past season shows the oldest Kardashian sibling, Kourtney, had been reluctant to film for the show. She would constantly complain about wanting to be with her kids rather than being stuck filming. Kim has been going through a tough year with her husband, Kanye West, who has been struggling with his mental health battle, plus his controversial presidential run. These issues have been putting a huge strain on their marriage.

Although it is sad to see such an iconic reality series go, Keeping Up With the Kardashians had a good run and will forever be remembered by fans. Who knows? Maybe in the future the family will come back with another series.
