The Keeping Up With the Kardashians family matriarch Kris Jenner is speaking out against the criticism Kendall Jenner received over her Halloween birthday party. This comes amid backlash the famous family is facing over their birthday celebrations taking place during a pandemic.

Kendall is the latest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan to be tossed into the whirlwind of fierce backlash over her birthday celebration. The supermodel celebrated her 25th birthday over the weekend and hosted a star-studded Halloween bash in West Hollywood. However, despite how much everyone loved The Weeknd's Nutty Professor costume, fans weren't feeling Kendall's fiesta being held during an international pandemic. Many on social media called the reality star out after a video showed a waiter trying to move away while holding her birthday cake as she blew out the candles. Just last week, Kendall's sister, Kim Kardashian, faced similar criticism for sharing pictures from her five-day remote island getaway with a group of family and friends.

But Mama Kris Jenner isn't feeling good about all of the judgment of her family. The reality star appeared on Andy Cohen's SiriusXM's Radio Andy on Monday and responded to the concerns, saying that the famous family receives regular testing due to their show. "We are very lucky to work in an industry where we get tested once or twice a week," the E! star said. "I just got tested again. I was tested on Friday, because of the network rules while we are filming as you know, so that’s very strict." The celebrity-filled event included Kendall's superstar relatives Kylie Jenner, Kim, and Kanye West, as well as stars like Jaden Smith, Winnie Harlow, The Weeknd, and Justin and Hailey Bieber.

The Momager went on to assure Cohen that all guests at their functions receive testing, no matter how big or small the crowd. "Whenever we have a gathering - no matter how big or small - no matter, you know, whether it’s five people or 25 people, you know, or 20 people, we have, like at Kendall’s, everyone got tested before they walked in the door and they had to wait, you know, a half an hour until the testing was, the results were in."

The family has been trending on social media over comments many fans and followers have made about their recent gatherings. Khloé recently defended Kim's decision to fly out a group of her loved ones to an all-inclusive remote island escape. Still, fans can't help but feel that the famous family is simply out of touch with reality.
