Star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Kim Kardashian West recently posted a picture with Kanye West on Instagram. She has shared several photos with her husband in the past, but this one led fans to mock her and Kanye. Why are people reacting so negatively, and what caused the picture to go so viral?

A  while back, Kanye decided to run for president of the United States of America. After a hefty investment, the man was able to get his name listed on some ballots. While some saw this last-minute presidential campaign as a publicity stunt, others considered it to be the result of the rapper's ego. After spending almost $3 million, the 43-year-old musician expected to become the nation's president. However, since not many citizens knew about Kanye's agendas and political views, it was obvious that winning the election wasn't a possible outcome. After a bit of support, including a vote for himself, Kanye lost.

Kanye's failed presidential run is the reason why the recent picture posted by Kim is facing such mockery. The Instagram post is a casual snap where Kim is kneeling with her hand on her husband's side. Kanye can be seen lying back with his hand on his head, wearing black sunglasses. The casual nature of the snap and its timing caused many Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans to react in a mocking tone. Many made presidential jokes, saying, "Dude, how is MY president doing," "Presidente kanye?" and "With America's president." The IG post has already received over 3 million likes and 12K interesting comments. Check out the picture below:

Some fans even called the picture a "sympathy post" by the SKIMS founder. Since she didn't publicly endorse Kanye and hinted that she didn't vote for him, it looks she is doing the damage control. Recently, the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan celebrated Joe Biden's US election win. Everyone, including Kim, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie Jenner, shared Instagram stories about Joe and Kamala Harris, solidifying their support.

It could have to be a little off-putting for Kanye to know that his own family didn't have much faith in his aspirations. However, the father-of-four hasn't admitted defeat and has shared a picture of himself with the caption "KANYE 2024," implying he's already making big plans for the coming few years. Who knows? Maybe by 2024, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians celeb will actually turn things around for himself. Best of luck, Kanye!
