This week, Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kendall Jenner was in The Hampton's serving her new tequila, and a customer tipped her $100 for the drink. The 25-year-old came out with her new Tequila 818 brand earlier in 2021 after a lot of speculation from KUWTK fans. Rumors of the new brand started when Kendall started following the Instagram account @drink818. At the time, the fans began to wonder what type of drink the model could be creating.
In February 2021, the official social media account for 818 Tequila began posting about the new tequila. However, Kendall Jenner wasn't featured in any of those initial posts. Alas, just a couple of weeks later, Kendall confirmed that she was releasing a new tequila brand. She also explained to her fans how the process took more than three and a half years. Then, Kendall officially began selling her new alcohol sometime in May 2021.
According to a source close to Page Six, Kendall Jenner was out and about this week to promote her 818 Tequila products while in The Hamptons. Kendall, who was spotted wearing Devin Booker's Olympic gold medal, reportedly served up shots at the 75 Main bar in Southampton when a customer tried to tip her $100. "She was having lunch with the spot's owner, Zach Erdem, and then got behind the bar and made drinks for customers. No one refused a drink, and a customer even tried to give her a $100 tip," the insider claimed. The source wasn't sure if the customer recognized the former reality star, but Kendall did not accept the money nonetheless.
In July 2021, her tequila sold out across the US and attracted orders from around as many as 80 countries. In fact, 75 Main isn't the only spot Kendall is stopping by this week to promote her brand. Kendall is rumored to be appearing at a number of spots out on the East Coast this week. So far, she has been to Gurney's Resort and Bounce in Montauk, located in The Hamptons. Kendall wasn't the only celebrity this summer serving up her own tequila brand to customers in The Hamptons. Brian Cranston and Aaron Paul from Breaking Bad were also seen bopping around Montauk earlier this summer to promote their Dos Hombres mezcal brand.
Kendall Jenner is ending her summer right by pouring shots of 818 Tequila for her fans at bars throughout The Hamptons. The former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is getting the name of her tequila brand out there, even if that means getting behind the bar and serving it herself. Moreover, it seems like she would make quite the pretty penny in tips.
