Keeping Up With The Kardashians is coming to an end, and the fans are curious to know what will happen to Kendall Jenner's modeling career post-show. The show announced in September 2020 that it will come to an end in 2021 following the 20th season. The ending will mark 14 years on the air.

Kendall Jenner is the second youngest of all of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters, and she was just 11 years old when Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered on TV. From a young age, Kendall had always made it known that she wanted to be a model. In one of the early seasons of KUWTK, Kendall created a modeling book to present to her mom Kris in hopes that she'd allow her to start a modeling career. Kendall was just 14 at the time. Now, at the age of 25, Kendall has modeled for big-name brands such as Calvin Klein, Givenchy, Chanel, and Fendi. She even walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2015. As of 2020, Kendall is reportedly the highest-paid model in the world.

As Keeping Up With the Kardashians nears its end, the fans have begun to speculate about whether Kendall's modeling career may hit a downfall as well. According to CheatSheet, many people believe that the only reason Kendall has had such a successful modeling career is because of her family's reality show. These fans claim that her career stems from her popularity from the social media following that she's built from the show and "her family’s connections to influential folks." Kendall has many times denied this theory, saying that she's actually dropped her famous last name for auditions. Kendall once defended herself to Vogue Australia, claiming to be a hard worker. She shared that her parents raised her to be that way.

Certain KUWTK fans took to Reddit to discuss different explanations as to why Kendall's career may be negatively affected by the show's ending. One fan seems to think that once the show ends and the Kardashian-Jenner family is not in the spotlight as much, brands may no longer book Kendall for shows. This particular Reddit user went on to explain that Kendall would be seen as "having nothing to offer anymore." Many users explained that typical modeling careers end in the late 20s age range. If that narrative turns out to be true, Kendall's career would in fact be soon coming to an end as she is already 25 years old. On the other hand, one fan explained that the modeling industry has completely changed thanks to social media. There are now more ways for Kendall to continue modeling without being on runways. If that is the case, Kendall does have over 140 million followers on Instagram, which means that she could continue to make a large sum of money without being in fashion shows.

Whether or not Kendall Jenner was only able to start a successful modeling career from Keeping Up With The Kardashians, there is no denying that she works hard. Even if it is because of her family's success and knowing the right people, Kendall's talent and work ethic are what really made her career prosper. The end of the show may alter Kendall's modeling career, but it is doubtful that it will bring her career to a complete end.
