Keeping Up With The Kardashians cast member Caitlyn Jenner wants to be the governor of California, but it comes as no secret that fans see right through her potential for the job and have outright rejected her completely. There are several examples in history where TV and film stars have left the glam world to enter politics. Some famous examples include Jerry Springer, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Melissa Gilbert. While many actors-turned-politicians have been praised by fans, some received criticism for their lack of political knowledge.

Kris Jenner's ex, Caitlyn, isn't the only one in the family who was hilariously mocked for unrealistic attempts at reaching positions of power. The other member who was dragged just as much is Kim Kardashian's estranged husband, Kanye West. Despite his clear lack of understanding and background in politics, the rapper went all-in with his imaginary knowledge hoping to run the country one day. Little did he know that this would be super embarrassing for the family and also a complete waste of time. During his presidential campaign, Kanye had multiple breakdowns and revealed personal information to voters that proved to be disastrous for his run. Many Keeping Up With The Kardashians viewers saw this more or less like a lengthy episode of a sitcom, where everything just felt bizarre.

The 71-year-old E! star posted an image for her initial paperwork to run for governor of California on her Instagram page. In her announcement, Caitlyn said, "I'm in! California is worth fighting for. Visit the link in bio to follow or donate today." The entire thing quickly backfired as fans started replying vigorously to her post. Almost every top comment on the post says "NO," except for a few. Many Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans are completely against this run. Some of the comments read, "Not my state, but like, No," "We need actual politicians in these roles, not clueless celebrities," "I think the era of unqualified reality TV personalities running for office should be over," and "April fools was 22 days ago." One fan even wrote, "Oh Lord help us," which received over a thousand likes.

Kanye lost a fraction of his fame and marriage soon after losing his own election, and a similar turn of events might be awaiting Caitlyn as she attempts to be the governor of California. She somehow thinks that her popularity can potentially give her a win. But with no hardcore knowledge on the issues, many fans are already aware of what they need to do.

Some have even pointed out that Caitlyn has never really voted before. According to public records, she didn't vote in the gubernatorial election in California held in 2018. She also skipped the presidential election in 2016. This is why it's no shock that many Keeping Up With The Kardashians fans are rejecting her completely, as they find this attempt a bit questionable.
