In the first installment of the two-part finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, audiences saw firsthand Khloé Kardashian's heartbreaking reaction when she found out her boyfriend and the father of her child, Tristan Thompson, has cheated on her with her sister's best friend, Jordyn Woods. After months of waiting, fans finally got the first-half of the full story on Sunday.
Kylie Jenner's best friend, Woods, previously admitted on Jada Pinkett’s Facebook series Red Table Talk that she went to Thompson's home with a group of friends after a night out and he ended up kissing her, supposedly against her wishes, as she was leaving in the early hours of the morning. Only, that's not the story that fans saw on the latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Viewers saw how everything played out in real time, including Khloé's reaction to the shocking news.
The new episode opens with Khloé touring her new home with Kylie and then-best friend Woods. At this point, the three are still close friends. It also seemed as though things were going well between Khloé and Tristan, who previously cheated on her while she was nine months pregnant. Days before the scandal broke, Khloé attempted to visit her boyfriend, but couldn't because of a migraine. Later, when Thompson returned to L.A., entertaining friends at an Airbnb, things took a turn for the worst. Kim explained that her friend and former Real Housewives of Miami star, Larsa Pippen, called to tell her a reporter was going to run a story about Thompson and Woods "making out" at the NBA player's home. “I immediately didn’t believe it,” Kim says.
Frustrated with the situation, Kim explained to Khloé and Kourtney that she didn't feel she was getting the full story from Woods. That is, until she finally admitted to kissing Thompson. And, while Khloé was hurt by Thompson's involvement in what happened, she seemed most hurt by Woods' betrayal, saying, "I knew who he was; I never in a million years thought that's who she was." However, more than anything, Khloé was upset that Thompson hadn't apologized, saying, "I'm not saying things can't happen, but never once has Jordan said 'I'm sorry.'"
Even in a show with as much drama as Keeping Up With the Kardashians, deceit, as well as the lack of an apology, run the risk of destroying strong bonds. And given how personal this situation was to Khloé, finding some kind of amicable resolution to Thompson's infidelity won't be easy. That said, anything is possible, and Khloé may well find it in her heart to forgive - even if she finds it hard to forget.
