Actor Keanu Reeves says that there are only two celebrities he's ever asked to sign an autograph for him. Reeves is the mega star of such movies as Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Point Break, The Matrix, Speed, and John Wick. The Canadian native has been acting since the mid-80s and made a name for himself with his affable presence and big-screen intensity ever since he came on the scene, growing into a bona fide movie star.

Reeves recently starred in The Matrix Resurrections, the fourth installment in The Matrix franchise, and is set to return to the John Wick franchise next year with John Wick: Chapter 4. The actor has starred with all manner of famous actors throughout his career, appearing in a multitude of genres ranging from action to comedy to horror to drama to sci-fi and beyond. In addition to acting, Reeves was also the bassist of his own band, Dogstar, which broke up in 2002 and is also a private philanthropist and avid biker whose frequent acts of kindness oftentimes go viral.

In a recent interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, Reeves takes the host's signature "Colbert Questionert," in which he is asked a series of questions in quick succession. One of the questions posed to him is if he's ever asked for an autograph from another celebrity. Reeves says that he has and that one of them was the famous musician Lou Reed of The Velvet Underground fame. The autograph was for a friend and just read "Lou Reed" on a small strip of paper. The other autograph was from his Bill and Ted co-star and legendary comedian George Carlin, who wrote something to the effect of, "Dear Keanu, F*ck you," which the actor later found out was Carlin's typical signature style. Reeves has a busy year coming up, so he'll have plenty of opportunities to get more autographs. In addition to John Wick: Chapter 4, Reeves will also be lending his voice to the animated film DC League of Super-Pets, starring Dwayne Johnson. He also just signed on for his first TV role, an adaptation of Erik Larson's The Devil in the White City for Hulu, which also stars Leonardo DiCaprio. Additionally, Reeves will be headlining the already greenlit John Wick: Chapter 5, which is set to begin production this year.

Reeves has garnered a reputation for being a real stand-up guy in Hollywood and seeing him interact on talk shows, promotional spots, events, and the red carpet seems to prove he's as genuine as the stories say. With so many celebrities remaining either over-saturated on social media or total enigmas in their personal lives, Reeves strikes a balance of sharing just enough to give fans an opportunity to see who he truly is while not divulging an excessive amount about of his private matters. He may be a badass assassin in John Wick or a spoon-bending hero in The Matrix, but in real life, Keanu Reeves comes off as entirely authentic.
