Karissa Lee Staples (Necessary Roughness, The Lottery) and Tyler Johnson (The Haunting of Sharon Tate, Chasing Life) are set  to star in the new indie feature film, Stripped.

The sexy thriller comes from director Jake Helgren, who wrote the script and will co-produce under The Ninth House banner along with partner Autumn Federici and fellow producer Stephanie Slack. Helgren previously wrote and directed Winter Wedding and The Perfect Mother, among other features.

The cast of Stripped also features Rachele Brooke Smith (Center Stage: Turn It Up, Bring It On: Fight to the Finish), Mark Hapka (Parallels, Days of Our Lives) and Lisa Ann Walter (The Parent Trap, Bruce Almighty).

Stripped centers around posh dance studio owner Amber Clarke (Staples), who is getting married in one week to handsome, boy-next-door Owen (Hapka). Hunter becomes obsessed with Amber, and begins stalking her and trying to sabotage her upcoming wedding. Amber and Owen soon find out Hunter's obsession stems from a dark vendetta he aims to repay.

The film will feature original songs from established radio personality and music producer/artist Manny Streetz, and international music producer/artist David Kater.

Stripped is currently shooting in Los Angeles.

Karissa Lee Staples is repped by Mike Gillespie at Primary Wave Entertainment and John Griffin at APA.
