Ever since Khloe Kardashian's best friend Malika Haqq gave birth, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star has offered her friend some words of wisdom. Khloe gave birth to daughter True over two years ago and now she is offering up some parenting tips to the new mom.
Malika gave birth to to her son, Ace Flores, six months ago right before the quarantine. The reality star shares her son with ex-boyfriend, rapper O.T Genasis. The ex-couple have been coparenting their son together since March and have been doing a great job at it thanks to Malika's best friend, Khloe.
Malika has revealed to US Weekly that she gets a lot of mom advice from Khloe Kardashian. “She has given me a lot of really good advice,” she told the publication while promoting her new collection with Naked Wardrobe. “If I have to select one, the best advice would be to remind myself that I am doing the absolute best I can. She actually reminds me of that daily.” Khloe is like a mini motivator for Malika. The mother of one reminds her best friend that there is not perfect way to be a mom and she just has to do what she can to parent her little boy. Malika is currently coparenting with her ex, O.T Genasis, since their sons birth in March. Khloe knows a thing or two about co parenting with an ex-boyfriend. Khloe shares her daughter, True, with on and off again boyfriend and professional basketball player, Tristan Thompson. While the couple are currently back together after a second scandal, who knows about the future for these two. Both Khloe and Malika were broken up with their significant others when they gave birth to their children. Khloe was there for Malika because she knows what it is like to be a single parent.
Khloe considers Ace her “beautiful, beautiful nephew,” a phrase she wrote in an Instagram post after his birth. “We have been waiting for you,” the reality star commented on the new mom's Instagram reveal. Malika has found that as she joined motherhood, avoiding mom guilt was impossible for her to do. She went on to explain that, “[it’s] a true definition of a connected mother to her baby. My time away from my son is carefully selected and always productive.” Malika has the most fun dressing up her little boy, calling Ace her biggest “motivator” for her Naked Wardrobe collaboration. The LA native explained how her new fashion collaboration has given her “the best of both worlds,” saying, “as a new mother, I wasn’t sure how motherhood and my creative passions could collide and the Mama Malika collection gave me [that]. … My son is my inspiration for this collection...I want him to know that it’s important to take chances on yourself. He too can go after his passions and his dreams.” Her friend Khloe knows what it is like to work your hardest for your child!
