Shanna Moakler appears to be having the worst year ever after getting dumped by her boyfriend Matthew Rondeau as her ex-husband fuels engagement rumors with a Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. Amid reports of Shanna working to auction off her wedding ring from Travis Barker, Matthew has come forward and revealed that he broke up with Shanna "months ago." Meanwhile, Travis and Kourtney Kardashian have been fueling engagement rumors after the reality star was spotted wearing a new diamond ring on the special ring finger. To make matters worse for Shanna, her teenage daughter Alabama Barker recently referred to Kourtney as her "stepmom."
The odds haven't been in Shanna's favor this year after Travis confirmed his romance with Kourtney. It didn't take too long for the couple to go public before Shanna started taking jabs at their relationship and accusing them of copying moments from her marriage to Travis. Her two biological children with the Blink-182 drummer even began speaking out against their mom. Both Landon Barker and Alabama have accused Shanna of neglect and blasted her relationship with her younger boyfriend Matthew. After a number of breakups and makeups, Shanna did a few press interviews earlier this year where she claimed she and Matthew were better than ever. But it looks like Shanna's claims were one-sided after Matthew's newest revelation.
This past week, the 28-year-old model confirmed his breakup with the 46-year-old mother of three. “I broke up with Shanna months ago, and I’m happier than I have ever been,” Matthew told Life & Style. “I’m focusing truly on finding myself again as a person emotionally and mentally." He wished Shanna well while officially distancing himself from her completely. “I hope she finds what she’s looking for, but it’s not going to be me," he added. His breakup news comes after he stood by Shanna's side during her family drama with Travis and her kids. Shanna accused Travis of "brainwashing" their children and turning them against her. But Landon and Alabama made accusations that Matthew was using their mom and being unfaithful in their relationship.
Fans have spent the last few weeks speculating on Shanna and Matthew's relationship status after noticing them unfollow each other on Instagram and delete all of their photos together. Their breakup comes after Shanna teased possible wedding bells and a family with Matthew in late May. "We’re not engaged, but anything’s possible," she told InTouch Weekly. "We talk about it, we talk about kids, and I want a life with him." But it looks like the feelings weren't reciprocated.
