The Kardashians season 2 just premiered on Hulu, but fans wish there would be some more exciting storylines. The premiere episode of The Kardashians season 2 followed the drama surrounding Khloé Kardashian having another baby with Tristan Thompson. In July, news broke that Khloé was welcoming her second child with her ex-boyfriend. Fans were shocked since, in December 2021, Khloé found out that Tristan had fathered a baby with personal trainer Maralee Nichols the night of Tristan's birthday party, which Khloé threw for him. The Kardashians season 1 finale showcased the moment the famous family found out and how Khloé coped.

The Kardashians season 1 also focused on Kim Kardashian's Saturday Night Live hosting gig, rumored extra footage from her 2002 sex tape, and Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's engagement. According to several trailers, The Kardashians season 2 will focus on Kourtney and Travis' wedding, the 2022 Met Gala when Kim caused controversy with her Marilyn Monroe gown, and Kris Jenner's surgery. Kim briefly mentioned her ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson in The Kardashians season 1 when they were still dating. He appeared for a moment in a trailer for The Kardashians season 2, but since their split, fans aren't sure if he'll still be making an appearance.

While The Kardashians planned to deliver a drama-filled and exciting season, fans don't think they're doing a great job. Twitter user @StephanieSidley urged fans to skip The Kardashians season 2, writing, "Guys, don't subscribe to Hulu for the 2nd season of #TheKardashians. It's boring with no new storylines. Travis and Kourtney's wedding, Kim is becoming her own woman, Kris has knee surgery, Khloe gets a pity invite to the Met Gala, Kendall's nasty to everyone and no Pete." The tweet was reshared by WesternService8517 on Reddit, where many fans expressed that they also found The Kardashians season 2 storylines boring.

One fan felt that the reason The Kardashians is so boring is that Kim is trying to be the main character, but she's not as funny as her sisters Khloé and Kourtney are, so it isn't working. Others admitted they don't care about Kris' knee surgery, which was initially made out to seem like a much more drastic health issue in a trailer. "First ep was sad but boring," Spamelagranderson wrote. Another fan confessed that while they've seen every episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, they've found the Hulu series to be not as good and have been very turned off by the family's behavior this year, making them even less interested in tuning in.

It seems like the Kar-Jenner family just doesn't know how to keep their fans entertained anymore. While KUWTK was an inside scoop into their lives, social media has made it easy to experience celebrities' lives on a daily basis. Fans have already seen many images and clips from Kourtney and Travis' wedding and the 2022 Met Gala. Seeing it on The Kardashians isn't anything they haven't seen before and is more like a recap of things that happened months ago. If the famous family wants to see the Hulu series succeed like KUWTK did, they might want to rethink the concept for The Kardashians season 3.

The Kardashians streams Thursdays on Hulu.
