Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum Scott Disick made his first public appearance since that dramatic split from Amelia Hamlin. The Talentless founder was spotted in Las Vegas over the weekend. The currently single star was focused entirely on the three children he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian.
The split with Amelia, after they dated for less than a year, came on the heels of a major public embarrassment for Scott. Kourtney's former boyfriend Younes Bendjima made headlines for leaking a DM exchange of Scott trashing their mutual ex. Apparently this was the final straw for 20-year-old Amelia, as the breakup was announced soon after. In the wake of the scandal, it was reported that the TV personality worried about his baby mama's reaction. Kourtney turing their kids against Scott was a concern. However, it appears the two are still managing to successfully co-parent their brood.
As reported by E! Online , Scott was spotted in Vegas on Saturday. He was in the city to treat Mason, Penelope, and Reign Disick to a family night out at the Sugar Factory American Brasserie restaurant. Sources reported that Scott went all out for his kids, even purchasing the restaurant's famous $99 King Kong sundae, which has a whopping 24 scoops of ice cream. Nine-year-old Penelope brought along friend Gracie Teefey, the younger sister of Selena Gomez. The girls sat at one table, while 11-year-old Mason and 6-year-old Reign sat at another. Also accompanying the family was Mario Lopez, his 11-year old daughter Mia, and Rod Stewart's son Sean. After dinner, Scott helped his kids shop for candy in the restaurant's store, while also saying hello to some fans. This outing was the first time he was seen publicly in about a month, since just before the split with Amelia.
During his relationship with Amelia, a major sticking point was the model being closer in age to Scott's children than to him. Certain things, like Scott joking about Amelia and Penelope's "play-date," didn't help. The age difference certainly bothered Amelia's mother, Lisa Rinna, who was never shy about her disapproval. In the latter months of Amelia and Scott's relationship, age was no longer the biggest issue. Instead, it was Scott's reaction to Kourtney's steamy romance with Travis Barker. The leaked DMs to Younes showed him insulting that couple's PDA. Sources claimed that Scott wasn't just threatened by the instantly serious nature of the relationship, but also by Travis being so close to the kids.
As Keeping Up With The Kardashians came to an end, Scott was on the outs with not only Kourtney, but also her family. It was a stark difference from the close friendship he shared with them for years, even after he and Kourtney called it quits. At the moment, it is said Scott and Kourtney have no relationship. But no matter what, the two are tied for life by their own family.
