Kendall Jenner from Keeping up with the Kardashians was granted a restraining order and extra security after a trespasser gained access to her property. This isn't the first time the 25-year-old had a trespasser on or close to her property. In fact, the Kardashian-Jenners, in general, have had a few strangers get access to their homes. Luckily, the family has a fantastic team of security behind them, so they never have to feel unsafe in their own homes.
The model began gaining her celebrity status when she started to appear on the E! network hit in 2007 when she was only 12 years old. The show allowed Kendall to be exposed to the world of modeling and became one of the most prominent runaway models of this generation. She has walked for designers such as Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, and so many more. However, with fame comes a loss of privacy, and it seems as though Kendall may be at the forefront.
According to Yahoo!, Kendall was granted a five-year restraining order against Malik Bowker on Tuesday after he was arrested last month for trespassing on her Los Angeles home and threatening to shoot her and himself. A few weeks earlier, the reality star filed for a civil harassment restraining order against another man who trespassed onto her property. Before the restraining orders were put into place, Kendall decided to beef up on security to ensure her safety following the latter incident. An unknown man started to knock on windows while also yelling the model's name. He then stripped off his clothes and attempted to take a swim in her pool.
Fortunately, Kendall was not harmed while Bowker was on her property, but she has increased her security team significantly after the two horrifying incidents. "Kendall has ramped up security and has a huge team on the property and with her," an insider told E! News. "They are all feeling like they need a big security presence at all times and that they can't have something like this happen again. It's been very scary and unsettling for all of them." As for the restraining order, Bowker has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from her, reports TMZ. That includes staying away from her, her home, work, vehicle, and even online.
The price of fame, unfortunately, comes with some negatives, such as trespassers. Luckily, Kendall has a great security team behind her who is always looking out for her safety. Now that she has the restraining orders put into place, hopefully, Kendall can feel safe in her own home.
