Kanye West has appeared to calm down his Twitter activity following a series of controversial rants. But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians member took to Twitter on Saturday to send prayers of support to President Donald Trump amid his COVID-19 diagnosis.

Trump announced that he and his wife Melania tested positive for coronavirus late Thursday night. His announcement came just two days after his highly criticized presidential debate with his Democratic opponent Joe Biden. During the debate, Trump called Biden out for frequently wearing masks amid the ongoing health pandemic. The comments raised concern as the world continues to battle the wide-spread virus. But, many were left jaw-dropped after learning of Trump's diagnosis just days after his controversial remarks. The President has since become quite the trending topic while he social distances himself during the healing process.

Amid all the criticism and backlash over Trump's health status, his friend and supporter Kanye West is expressing his empathy for the President and asking the nation "come together." Despite launching his own presidential campaign this summer, Kanye unbiasedly shared his "civility" for both Trump and Biden. “There’s a crying need for civility across the board,” Kanye tweeted on Saturday morning. “We need to and will come together in the name of Jesus," he added. He also sent prayers to both presidential nominees amid the ongoing international health pandemic. "I’m praying for President Trump’s and Melania’s full recovery, just as I would for Joe and Jill Biden if they were stricken, as well as everyone else with COVID-19,” he declared.

Kanye's latest tweets are different in tone to his earlier tweets against the music industry and his family. Shortly after Kanye's only presidential rally over the summer, he took to Twitter where he called out his wife Kim Kardashian and mother-in-law Kris Jenner. He accused them of ignoring him after he shared private information about Kim's pregnancy with their eldest daughter North West during his controversial rally. The comments reportedly caused serious tension between Kim and Kanye, but Kim continues to show support for her husband.

The Yeezy founder's most recent Twitter rant was against the recording industry and artists not owning their masters. In a series of tweets, Kanye shared off his signed contracts and declared that he will fight for independence for all music artists, including his longtime enemy, Taylor Swift. In addition, Kanye sent a tweet urinating on one of his Grammys to seal the deal. Kim continues to remain mum about her husband's questionable tweets amid reports she could be faking their recent date nights.
