Irina Shayk is staying mum on her romantic life following her reported split from Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum Kanye West. The Russian model touched on her love life one month after sources confirmed her split from Kanye after a short-lived fling. Irina and Kanye fueled dating rumors around Kanye's birthday in May but didn't make it through the summer. Leading up to the release of Kanye's Donda album, insiders claimed the rap/fashion mogul wanted to get his ex-wife back.
Kim and Kanye have fueled reconciliation rumors in the last month after showing clear signs of being on better terms. The two enjoyed family outings together and a private lunch date in Malibu before Kim sat front row at all three of Kanye's listening parties. At the events, Kim also wore matching colored outfits with Kanye that also gave a nod to their existing solidarity despite their ongoing divorce. With all the talk of Kanye working to get Kim back, it became clear that he had no interest in trying to make things work with Irina. Sources for the model also downplayed her connection with Kanye during their romance saying they were just friends.
Now that Irina is back on the market, she plans on keeping her dating life under wraps and outside of the media. While speaking with Highsnobiety, Irina made sure to dodge a question regarding her relationship with Kanye. "Tomorrow there is going to be a rumor that I’m dating my doorman, OK? Then after tomorrow, it’s going to be someone else,” she told the outlet. “Look, there’s always something there, and I’m just keeping it to myself.” Irina hasn't spoken about Kanye publicly since they were first linked together earlier this year.
During their two-month fling, sources said Kanye and Irina were interested in seeing where things went between them. But after their breakup was confirmed, insiders claimed there was never really anything there, to begin with. For her part, Irina is co-parenting her 4-year-old daughter with her ex Bradley Cooper. With them both being high-profile stars like Kim and Kanye, it's clear Kanye and Irina working out as a couple was a far shot. It makes sense why Irina has decided to stay quiet in her romantic life. With all the headlines she filled because of Kanye, it was likely too much attention than the low-key fashion star is used to.
