Even though Caitlyn Jenner no longer appears on Keeping up with the Kardashians, she does have some fond memories of when she was a part of it. After Caitlyn announced she and her now-ex-wife, Kris Jenner, were getting a divorce and that she will be transitioning to a woman, the former reality star appeared on KUWTK less and less. Eventually, she got her own reality series on the E! network called I Am Cait, which followed Caitlyn on her new journey as a transgender woman. The show only lasted for two seasons.

During her time on KUWTK, Caitlyn went by her former name Bruce Jenner. While Caitlyn was living as Bruce, she was married to Kris, who already had four children of her own: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian. Together, the former couple had Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Caitlyn was very close with Kendall and Kylie and the Kardashian siblings. While Caitlyn was on KUWTK, she had the closest bond with Khloé. Shortly after she transitioned, their relationship fell apart after Caitlyn started bad-mouthing Khloé's mom, Kris. Since then, Caitlyn has rarely appeared on KUWTK.

In an interview with E! Online, the 71-year-old former reality star opened up about one of her fondest memories from her time on KUWTK. She revealed the first episode was one of her favorites, "Just to see how young Kendall and Kylie [Jenner] were, and how young everybody was." Caitlyn also reminisced on the time she and the family pitched the idea of a reality show based on their family to the network. "They said, 'OK, we'll shoot six episodes.' And they only gave us one camera to shoot an entire family," she explained. She said it was fun to able to share their lives with the public. The whole family had no idea what to expect in the beginning, but Caitlyn enjoyed KUWTK during the "beginning stages."

Another aspect Caitlyn loved about being on the show was how it forced the family to talk about issues they never would have brought up before. "In a lot of ways, it brought the family so much closer together, so much stronger as a family," she explained, adding, "when things come up, they can share with family members because everybody's in the same boat." Caitlyn even touched on her experience on The Masked Singer and what Kendall and Kylie thought of the experience. "Their first reaction was, 'Dad why are you doing that?" she recalled. Caitlyn wanted to do something out of her element and thought the show was the best option for her. Ultimately they were happy for their dad and couldn't wait to watch her on the show.

Even though Caitlyn is no longer a part of KUWTK, she's still sad to see the show come to an end. She was a large part of the show during the beginning seasons and will always hold a special place in her heart for the show. The memories will live with Caitlyn forever as she looks back on being a part of KUWTK with the fondest of memories.
