Blac Chyna caught a break in the assault case against her this week when a judge ruled she is able to depose Rob Kardashian's siblings and Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars. Rob was heavily featured in the first few seasons of the show as he was navigating his last years at college and, later, his life post-graduation. Fans were able to see his close bond with his sister Khloe Kardashian when he lived with her for a few seasons while she was married to Lamar Odom. It was around this time when his confidence began to drop. He chose to distance himself from the cameras and was talked about on the show more than he was seen from then on out.

When Rob started his relationship with Blac Chyna, it seemed she was able to get him out of his funk and come out in public. He was being photographed out in public more often and was even seen in a few episodes of the show. Fans were surprised when he agreed to do a reality show featuring just him and Chyna, as they awaited the birth of their daughter. It seemed like he was moving in the right direction. However, it soon became clear their relationship was very toxic. Almost every scene of their show featured an argument between the couple, and Rob documented all the times she left him on his Snapchat Stories. In the end, it didn't work out.

Chyna's lawyers announced that the judge agreed to let them depose the Kardashian-Jenner sisters in relation to Rob's assault case against her. According to Page Six, Chyna requested to question Kim Kardashian, Khloe, Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner. The judge granted Chyna permission to do so but was not on board with all of what she asked. While the judge agreed there was nothing wrong with questioning his family, they felt her request to have them each deposed for seven hours was a bit excessive. They instead ruled each member of the family can be deposed for just four hours but then lessened the time frame once again in the court order itself to only two hours per person. In a statement given to Page Six, the family's lawyer said they are happy the court chose to enforce a two-hour limit considering how busy each member of the family is.

The public first learned about the lawsuit against Chyna when it was reported in 2017 that Rob sued her for attacking him after getting drunk. He claimed she tried to choke him with the wire of an iPhone charger. He explained further that he was somehow able to escape but not before she repeatedly punched him in the face and caused injuries to his neck. In order to document the abuse, Rob posted pictures of his injuries on social media. Chyna denies these claims and, in 2020, said she had proof it never happened in the form of a 2016 statement from the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services in which Rob claimed she never actually hit him. A judge saw this piece of evidence but decided to move forward with the case anyways.

Chyna seems to think of this as a win, but is involving his family really the way to go? It seems as if they would do anything to protect each other, and they have probably only heard Rob's side of the story. Chyna has been seen acting violent toward him on camera, so it will be interesting to see how much the Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars can really help her.
