Keeping up with the Kardashians alum Kim Kardashian and her new sweetheart comedian Pete Davidson decided to enjoy some romantic time together in the Bahamas, but her estranged husband Kanye West reportedly didn't find it pleasing. Although Kim and Pete are now enjoying their time together, the pair started the year apart doing different things. While the comedian was getting ready to hit the stage at Miami for a New Year's Eve party for NBC and Peacock, Kim was reportedly spending time babysitting her and Kanye's four children.
It was later revealed that the SKIMS founder had wanted so badly to be with Pete and support him at the New Year's Eve event, which he co-hosted with Miley Cyrus. However, Kanye disrupted her initial plans. After the Miami event, Kim's absence raised several speculations, which were later addressed. According to reports, Kim had to cancel her Maimi trip and stay back with her kids North, Chicago Saint, and Psalm as their father Kanye said he wouldn't be available. Later, reports also emerged that Kanye, who was also in Miami for the new year, had purposely made himself unavailable to keep Kim away from her new beau.
It's no secret Kanye has made several attempts to get back the mother of his four kids to no avail. Kim has also made it clear she wouldn't be returning to him and is stopping at nothing to show off her newfound romance with Pete. Kim and Pete have been trending on the tabloids for months now. Despite not spending the new year together, the pair made headlines again with their recent vacation to the Bahamas. However, while Kim and Pete undoubtedly had a lovely time in each other's company, Kanye seemed to have a problem with their vacation location. A source revealed to HollywoodLife, "Kanye doesn't understand why Kim would take Pete to Baker's Bay in the Bahamas for their first vacation together."
The source added, "To be honest, it feels disrespectful to Kanye because that's exactly where she took Kanye to celebrate his 40th birthday a few years ago. Kim rented out the entire island for him so it's obviously a special place in his heart." The source also said that Kim's actions have only tainted Kanye's memories of Baker's Bay, and the Yeezy designer couldn't help being bothered even though he is trying to move on from her and is reportedly in a relationship with actress Julia Fox, 31.
There is no doubt fans of Keeping up with the Kardashians alum Kim and Pete are happy the two finally spent some quality time together after kicking off the year apart. However, while it is good the lovebirds enjoyed their Bahamas vacation, it turned out Kanye wasn't impressed. One can understand Kanye's point of view as he sees Barker's Bay as his and Kim's special place. However, he should understand that times have changed and should move on from the past. It is also good Kanye and Kim have notably been spending time with their new lovers. Fans can only hope they continue to do so without any complications.
