Unsurprisingly, Kanye West is ecstatic about Kim Kardashian's split from Pete Davidson, and The Kardashians star's ex-husband didn't hesitate to reignite his feud with the comedian on Instagram. It was reported recently that Kim and Pete had called off their nine-month relationship. The two were first seen together during Halloween weekend, but fans started speculating things were going south when Pete moved to Australia to film a movie. Kim shut down the rumors by sharing photos of her and the Saturday Night Live star on the southern continent, but apparently, fans' suspicions were correct. Anyone who thought Kanye would stay quiet about the breakup was wrong.

In January, Kanye began his public takedown of Pete on social media. The rapper began releasing songs with violent lyrics about the actor and even made a disturbing music video in which he murdered Kim’s former boyfriend. The father of four started harassing him on Instagram, nicknaming him “Skete,” and sharing personal text messages between the two on his page. Despite being romantically linked to Irina Shayk, Julia Fox and Chaney Jones, the rapper is still determined to win Kim back. The star has since deleted all of his Instagram posts, and it was reported several times that Kanye was seeking help for his mental health.

Unfortunately, Kim’s ex-husband is back to his Instagram antics as he recently shared another anti-Pete post. According to Page Six, Kanye shared (and eventually deleted) a fake New York Times paper on Instagram with a headline reading, “Skete Davidson Dead At Age 28.” The rapper added no caption to the photo but currently still has it on his page. While Kim and Pete have not offered a response, Kanye's comments have been flooded with fan reactions. One fan pointed out that Kanye even added a caption to the bottom of the newspaper which says, "Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers."

The small caption is in reference to Kid Cudi's July 2022 performance at Rolling Loud, where he was hit with several water bottles. Kanye and the Cleveland-born rapper have been friends for over a decade and first worked together on "Make Her Say (I Poke Her Face)" featuring Lady Gaga. However, Kanye and Cudi have since fallen out, and Kanye announced that Cudi would not be on his album Donda 2 because of his friendship with Pete. The SNL star has been friends with Cudi for a while, and in 2019, in a now infamous photo, he hung out with Cudi, Kim, Kanye and actor Timothee Chalamet for Cudi's birthday.

Kanye has unburied the hatchet and judging from his past, this will probably not be his only Instagram post about Kim's ex-boyfriend. While there doesn't seem to be any bad blood between Kim and Pete, if The Kardashians star doesn't stand up for Pete against her ex-husband, there might be. Kanye is typically quick to delete his angry Instagram posts, but the fake newspaper, which now had over one million likes, currently remains on his page. It seems even when Kanye gets what he wants, Pete is still the enemy.

The Kardashians season 2 premieres September 22 on Hulu.
