Over a month ago, rumors began to circulate that Kim and Kanye were headed towards a divorce. Kim has been thinking about pulling the plug on their marriage for a while. The last straw was when Kanye had a few episodes over the summer that caused a strain within their relationship. Ultimately, Kim wanted to work on their marriage and flew to Wyoming so she and her children can be with Kayne. The couple seemed to be doing better as Kim was sharing photos of her, Kanye, and the kids on their ranch in Wyoming. Kim is over trying to help Kanye and is ready to move on with her life. A source close to Kanye told People that the reality of his impending divorce from Kim is finally setting in and he is beginning to struggle. "He is anxious and very sad," the source revealed. "He knows that the marriage is over, and there's nothing that can be done right now. He also knows what he is losing in Kim." The rapper and the reality star are no longer on the same page when it comes to their future as a family and Kim has come to terms with it. Before Kim allegedly decided to go through with the divorce, she stood up for Kanye, not only to the public but to her family as well. "She has stood beside him at a time where a few wives would have done that," says the source. Papers have yet to be filed, but many sources have confirmed that the divorce is on its way.
Even though several sources say the divorce will be happening sooner than later, there are reports Kanye is hoping for a reconciliation. "There is very little hope of reconciliation," the source admitted. "It would have to be a miracle. But Kanye does believe in miracles." Kim and Kanye share four children: North, 7, Chicago, 3, Saint, 5, and Psalm, who will be 2 in May. The children are mainly with the reality star, but she wants her kids to be able to see their father. Kim does not want to forbid Kanye from seeing his children and wants him to have the kids anytime. Her only requirement is that "he is not going to damage them." She does not want him to be hurt, but she can no longer be married to him anymore.
The new season of KUWTK is set to air its final season on March 18, 2021. The show will reportedly follow Kim and Kanye's marital woes over the past few months. It may even confirm their impending divorce. At this point, divorce seems to be the only logical step for a marriage that has become irredeemable.
