Kaley Cuoco, star of the animated show Harley Quinn, recently took to social media to share her animated counterpart's newest comicHarley Quinn: The Animated Series - The Eat. Bang! Kill Tour is a new comic that picks up after the finale of Harley Quinn season two. The show's star and producer is promoting the series in a new photo.

Harley Quinn is an adult animated series that debuted on DC Universe before moving to HBO Max. It presents the life of the fan-favorite villain after she and the Joker break up. Harley has taken control of her own destiny, getting her own crew, starting new relationships, and doing things her way. The second season had its finale in June of 2020 and while a third season is on its way, a date for its premiere has not been given. This is where the new comic series comes into play.

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series - The Eat. Bang! Kill Tour by Max Sarin and Tee Franklin is a continuation of the show from the finale of the second season. Kaley Cuoco shared an Instagram story in which she is reading a physical copy of the comic, which is currently available digitally on DC Universe Infinite. The image reads "Harls/Ivy fans, peeling out of S2 is the Harley Quinn: The Animated Series - The Eat, Bang! Kill Tour comic! it's got action, romance and everything in between! pick issue #1 up at ur local comic shop or dcui subscribers can read it digitally today! #EatBangKill". See the photo here:

This new DC comic series is going to be six issues long. It picks up immediately after the season two finale, after the failed wedding of Poison Ivy and Kite Man. Commissioner Gordon is after Harley and Ivy, who have begun a road trip as they navigate their new relationship. Thus far, it is unknown if this will be the actual start of the next season that fans are getting ahead of the release, or if it will be a bridge between the previous season and the next one.

Regardless of how the show and comic fit together, it's great to see Kaley Cuoco promoting her animated alter ego and encouraging the support of comic book shops. The star looks very comfy alongside her canine companion, Dumpy, who is frequently featured in Kaley's Instagram videos and used to have an Instagram of his own. Dumpy is curled up beside a variant cover for the series. This variant features Harley and Poison Ivy in Ivy's car with Harley waving a bouquet - likely from the failed wedding the girlfriends have left far behind them. This variant hadn't been revealed previously, but it's lovely and Kaley Cuoco and Dumpy are definitely enjoying it as their shared reading for the day.

Harley Quinn: The Animated Series - The Eat. Bang. Kill Tour #1 releases physically on September 14, 2021.
