These dance scenes can occur in any K-drama genre from romance, to comedy, and even on the rare occasion, a riveting drama. There was a moment of shock as fans watched Seo-Joon (Hwang In-Youp)  from True Beauty emerge from his room in tiger boxers while dancing to Song Minho's "Okey Dokey," song. That shock quickly turned into giggles and fans can't stop singing the song because of that very scene.

The Final Dance (Navillera)

This dance scene is more on the emotional side than the comical. Based on a webtoon, Navillera tells the story of Deok-Chul (Park In-Hwan) who pursues his dream of doing ballet at 70-years-old. His lifelong dream is to finally perform on stage. Fans were filled with glee by the end of the drama as Deok-Chul fulfills his wish.

Chae-Rok (Song Kang) and Deok-Chul take part in a special dance recital and perform the famous "Swan Lake." Fans were moved to tears at the beauty, grace, and emotion behind the dance. Deok-Chul radiates happiness as he dances across the stage alongside Chae-Rok in front of his children and family. It's the perfect end to Deok-Chul's story.

While You Were Sleeping is well known for its romance and incredibly envious couple, but there's also a noteworthy comedic dance number. Who hasn't pretended to hold a full-fledged concert in their bathroom after a shower? One of the drama's lead characters, Nam Hong-Joo (Bae Suzy) gets invested in the song "Fantastic Baby" by BigBang.

Fans related to the character as she just got out of a steamy shower and dives right into grooving with the beat. She even uses a hairdryer as an impromptu mic. To make it even better, she whips her hair back and forth for some extra flare.

The K-Pop Dance (My ID Is Gangnam Beauty)

When it comes to teen dramas with an impactful message, My ID is Gangnam Beauty gets top marks. Kang Mi-Rae (Im Soo-Young) was ridiculed her whole childhood for her looks. Once going to college, she decides to get plastic surgery. At orientation, she decides to finally show off her skills with a K-Pop dance.

It just so happens that the title of the song she dances to is "New Face" by PSY, the same K-Pop artist known for "Gangman Style." Fans have fond memories of the dance scene as Mi-Rae lets loose as the spotlight shines bright on her and her classmates cheer her on. At the same time, her future love interest can't help but remember someone who used to dance the same way.

Club Dance Off (Legend Of The Blue Sea)

Legend of the Blue Sea rose to become a well-known fantasy romance K-drama as it entailed fated love and a mermaid. Shim Cheong (Jun Ji-Hyun) is a mermaid who sweeps ashore and meets a conman named  Joon-Jae (Lee Min-Ho). Being a mermaid amongst humans comes with challenges and new, fun opportunities.

In episode 15 of the drama, Shim Chung is at a club dancing to her heart's content. At the same time, she has a small dance-off with another character, Cha Shi-Ah (Shin Hye-Sun). Fans can tell that Shi-Ah is trying to outdo Shim Chung out of jealousy. The flashing lights, loud club music, dancing, and a possessive Joon-Jae makes for a memorable scene.

This K-drama dance is a bit of a cheat as the dance Love in the Moonlight became known for has nothing to do with the actual drama. As part of the preview and promotion for the K-drama, they had the main character and cast in their costuming on-set performing a dance.

Actor Park Bo-Gum opens the scene wearing sunglasses in his attire as his character, Lee Young. The catchy beat of "Bombastic" plays as he and the other cast bust out into a choreographed dance. The scene is full of fun laughs, rhythm, and an overall good time. Fans were disappointed to see that the iconic dance number didn't show up in the drama.

Groom's Wedding Gift (A Love So Beautiful)

Netflix's K-dram A Love so Beautiful takes fans on an emotional yet heartfelt story of young love that rekindles in adulthood. The drama focuses on a group of friends in high school and then time jumps a couple of years later. Two main characters, Kang Ha-Young (Jo Hye-Jooo) and Jeong Ji-Hwan were both friends of the main female character but later fall in love.

Years later, these two get engaged and soon marry in a beautiful ceremony. Besides the gorgeous bride, fans loved the groom's dance number alongside the other two main male characters. Guest and fans clapped along as they danced to "Lovely" by Kim Jong Kook. It was the perfect scene to bring some fun, lightheartedness, and smiles.

Weightlifting Fairy was one of those K-dramas that deserves a feel-good title. The K-drama was well-loved for its quirkiness, comedic moments, and love storyline. The drama is even well-known for one memorable scene of Bok-Joo (Lee Sung-Kyung) threatening Joon-Hyung (Man Joo-Hyuk).

Bok-Joo also had a memorable dance number with Joon-Hyung at the club. Bok-Joo is down on her luck and upset. Joon-Hyung thinks the best way to cheer her up is by letting her dance it off at the club. The dancing is by no means professional or great. But it resonated with fans as Bok-Joo just wanted to have fun and let loose.

The Company Dinner (Vincenzo)

Vincenzo is Netflix's must-watch K-drama about a mafia boss and a corrupt CEO, and fans already know very well what dance scene became popular. At the beginning of the series, the main character Hong Cha-Young (Jeon Yeo-Been) worked as a lawyer that represented the corrupt Babel Group.

At the company dinner with the new senior partner, the lawyers have to impersonate their colleagues. It's Cha-Young's turn and decides to impersonate the new senior. Kicking her heels off, Cha-Young starts shouting a certain rhythm and makes sharp and forceful movements. There's no real grace to the dance but stomps and gyrating that makes any viewer laugh.

Wrong Time Period (Mr.Queen)

If looking for a riveting historical K-drama that still full of laughs and has a unique main character, Mr.Queen is a must-watch. The dance number the drama became known for is even more comical knowing that the main character is actually from the future who traveled back in time to inhabit the body of a Queen from the Joseon Dynasty.

Jang Bong-Hwan (Choi Jin-Hyuk), in the body of Queen Cheorin (Shin Hye-Sun), gets exciting news and wants to celebrate. The Queen bursts into a groove twerking, gyrating, and moving her body in a way that's blasphemous to the era. Her maids try to cover up her moves. She couldn't care less and continues to dance to the beat of a BlackPink song in her head.

The Audition (True Beauty)

At one point or another viewers have experienced making an absolute fool of themselves. -and this is certainly true for Lim Joo-Kyung (Moon Ga-Young) from True Beauty. The drama followed many known tropes and had more than a handful of laugh-out-loud moments, one of them being Joo-Kyung's dance number for a school audition.

The students are auditioning to perform at their yearly talent show. Joo-Kyung prepares to showcase her dancing skills with choreography for the song "Maria" by Hwa Sa. Having taken too long in the bathroom, Joo-Kyung doesn't realize until after her dance that the audition period already ended. She just performed in front of the school's faculty who were in the middle of a meeting.
