Cyborg actor Ray Fisher doesn't just confirm the existence of Zack Snyder's original cut of Justice League, but goes so far as to say that anyone who says it doesn't exist is just trolling for attention. Upon its release in 2017, Justice League was met with critical derision and audience apathy. The finished film was largely divorced from director Zack Snyder's original vision for Justice League since he had been forced to depart, after which Joss Whedon was brought on board to reshoot much of the movie. The resultant movie was a jumbled mix of tonally-inconsistent dialogue and muddled storytelling that practically stopped the DCEU dead in its tracks.

Almost immediately following the release of Justice League, a groundswell of support began to form on the internet, with supporters demanding Warner Bros. to "Release the Snyder Cut." The idea was that Zack Snyder's production was far enough along that a Director's Cut of the film could be released, giving audiences the chance to see the original version of the movie before it was taken out of Snyder's hands. To date, the movement to release Zack Snyder's Justice League, aka the Snyder Cut as it has been called, has earned support from many of the cast of the film, as well as other players within the comic book movie sphere.

The character of Cyborg is often said to have had a much bigger part in Zack Snyder's cut of Justice League than in the final version. In fact, much of the footage of Cyborg seen in early trailers is conspicuously absent from the theatrical cut. Nevertheless, some continue to suggest that the Snyder Cut doesn't exist, that it's merely a pipe dream, and that it will never, ever see the light of day. Ray Fisher, the actor who played Cyborg in the film, dismissed those naysayers. In a recent Twitch stream, he said the film exists and those who deny it are internet trolls who should be ignored with prejudice. He was quoted by a Twitter user who posted Fisher's remarks on the matter.

Ray Fisher is an active Twitch user, often playing video games while chatting with fans. While he has not seen the Snyder Cut himself, he says he knows people who have. One such person is Jason Momoa, who has seen the film and asserts it to be a completely different experience from the theatrical cut.

Support for Zack Snyder's Justice League is only growing as the years roll by, with many hoping the film could perhaps see a release on HBO Max, the upcoming WarnerMedia streaming service. Even the incoming CEO of WarnerMedia, Jason Kilar has expressed a degree of support by liking Tweets associated with the Snyder Cut. While it may be too late for Zack Snyder to ever deliver on the five-film arc (six, including Man of Steel) he had proposed for DC's greatest heroes, if fans continue to express their support for his original version of Justice League, maybe audiences will one day get to see this mythical Director's Cut.
