Big baddie Steppenwolf (played by Ciarán Hinds) speaks in the latest UK trailer for Justice League . The villain is headed to Earth with his army of Parademons in the film, in search of the powerful Motherboxes. That means it's up to DC's finest heroes to foil his evil plans and save humanity from their doom.

Warner Bros. has been relentless in promoting Justice League of late, now that there's only three weeks left before it hits theaters. Hype for the film is currently building all over the world, as this newly-released UK trailer illustrates. This trailer launch is also part of the beginning of Justice League's global press tour, with the first major stop being China.

Clocking in at just a minute, the trailer (see the space above) was posted online by Warner Bros. Pictures UK and offers a sneak peek at Steppenwolf's return to Earth. After Diana/Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) reveals that Steppenwolf attacked Themyscira long before she was born, the trailer unveils a flurry of shots featuring the League - along with dialogue from Steppenwolf himself, saying "This world will fall like all the others." The camera then pans out to him holding a commoner by the collar, as the man begs for mercy. Of course, the villain is unmoved by this and even mocks the man with a sarcastic reply ("Why does everyone keep telling me that?") - indicating that despite being a bad guy, he does have a fun (albeit ruthless) personality.

Aside from hearing Steppenwolf speak and learning a bit more about him, the clip features lots of brand-new footage, including some wide shots of the Parademons flying and some individual character sequences of Batman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Aquaman, and The Flash. An extended version of the Atlantean hitchhiking on the Caped Crusader's Batmobile is likewise added, highlighting the latter's sense of humor as he ribs the former and calling his trident a pitchfork.

It won't be long before we get to see Steppenwolf doing all sorts of villainous deeds, now that Justice League is due to arrive in theaters in less than a month. Justice League tickets are now available to purchase in the U.S., so fans can make sure they have their seats reserved come opening weekend. Based on the current tracking results for the film, a whole lot of people are going to be watching the League's battle with Steppenwolf on the big screen.
