Warner Bros. has confirmed that the new trailer for Justice League will arrive in the morning this Sunday. It has been a few months since fans have seen extensive new footage from Justice League, and the wait is almost over. While smaller promos have revealed tiny new bits of footage, there has been nothing substantial since the San Diego Comic-Con trailer released in July. The footage highlighted there was in line with what was shown in the previous Justice League trailers, though the film itself has gone through additional reshoots since then.

Even after the SDCC trailer was released, Joss Whedon continued to work on reshoots for Justice League. The magnitude of these reshoots has been a contentious topic, with different sources painting different pictures as for how much is being reshot. With those reshoots now done and test screenings underway for Justice League, it is almost time for everyone to find out what the final product is.

Before the film hits theaters in November, Warner Bros. has announced that a new trailer for Justice League will be arriving this Sunday, October 8th. However, in the studio's initial announcement (that included new character posters), it was not revealed just when exactly the trailer would be released online. Thankfully, the trailer is now confirmed to hit the 'Net at 9 am EST (see below).

Releasing the new Justice League trailer online this early in the morning should allow the preview to dominate the movie news cycle on Sunday. With most people being off for the weekend, more fans won't have to wait to watch the trailer (several times, if they like) upon its initial launch. Barring some major news coming out of the final day of New York Comic Con, Justice League looks poised to be the hot topic for a while - at least until the new trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi drops online a day or so later.

Perhaps the big question is: will Warner Bros. go ahead and reveal Henry Cavill's resurrected Superman in the next (final?) Justice League trailer? Rumor has it Superman dons his black suit in the film, and such a tease could make for a great final shot of the new trailer. Considering the SDCC trailer ended on a tease of what many believe to be Superman, WB may go ahead and flat-out reveal the resurrected Man of Steel ahead of the movie's theatrical release. Such a move would no doubt prove divisive among hardcore fans - though again, it's not guaranteed to happen yet, either. Fortunately, we won't have to wait much longer to find out what the answer to that question actually is.
