The latest clip from the Justice League Snyder Cut will arrive this weekend. The fan campaign for the Snyder Cut began after it became apparent that the theatrical cut of Justice League was vastly different than the version director Zack Snyder set out to make. Snyder stepped away from the project midway through production due to a family tragedy, and Joss Whedon was brought in to complete the film. However, Whedon changed a great deal of Snyder's cut, leading to much displeasure from fans. They have been fighting for the release of the Snyder Cut ever since, finally scoring a much-needed win earlier this year.

The Justice League Snyder Cut will be released on HBO Max next year and is 100% the movie Snyder wanted to make. This means it will include deeper arcs for characters like Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and Superman (Henry Cavill), as well as various supporting characters who were omitted from Whedon's version, such as Martian Manhunter (Harry Lennix) and Darkseid (Ray Porter). This weekend, Snyder will appear at the virtual fan-made convention called Justice Con to help hype up his Justice League.

Snyder even began to hype up his Justice Con appearance during an interview with Grace Randolph. Randolph pointed out that Snyder has some surprises planned, and Snyder confirmed "I may show a clip." While he had some fun by saying the clip is a maybe, Snyder then seemed to ruin the mystery by adding, "It is a small clip - oh, I mean, I may," indicating he already has it planned out, and that it will be fun. Snyder's Justice Con panel will be on Saturday, July 22, at 5:30 PM EST and can be viewed on  the official Justice Con YouTube page. Snyder also revealed there is one other announcement to be made.

Justice League Zack Snyder Cut

As for what that announcement could be, Snyder didn't elaborate on what it is beyond the fact that it is "a little side thing just for the fans." Because of that, it seems unlikely that it's a trailer of any sort, especially since there will already be a clip shown. A release date could be possible, provided Snyder was teasing when he called it a "teeny little"  announcement. Those at HBO Max previously said they're aiming to release Justice League in early-to-mid 2021, so it wouldn't be absurd to believe there's an official release date coming soon.

However, if the second announcement really is tiny, then perhaps it is something as simple as confirming a new actor or actress will be included in Justice League's Snyder Cut. So far, the cast seems pretty rounded out, but there could always be more surprises on the way. Even beyond Justice Con, fans have DC FanDome to look forward to next month, which Snyder will also attend for Justice League. Regardless of what is revealed at both events, Justice League fans are guaranteed some excellent reveals in the coming weeks.
