The latest teaser for Zack Snyder's Justice League puts the spotlight on Ezra Miller's the Flash. The Snyder Cut is fast approaching, with its HBO Max release slated for just under two weeks from now. Fans have been campaigning for director Zack Snyder's complete Justice League ever since the theatrical version of the film (which was ultimately overseen by Joss Whedon) debuted in 2017. That intense fan enthusiasm led to Warner Bros. agreeing to release the Snyder Cut. Perhaps making this even better is that Snyder had complete creative control; the Justice League fans will watch is entirely his own.

Snyder's Justice League boasts numerous differences from the previous version, from its lengthy, 4-hour runtime to the characters involved. The 2017 iteration of the film was dinged by some fans for not properly developing newer characters like the Flash, who had only really appeared previously in a cameo capacity for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Snyder Cut will dive deeper into the Flash by featuring more of his backstory, including his relationship with Iris West (Kiersey Clemons).

After several other character-centric teasers, the Flash takes center stage in the latest Justice League trailer. Clocking in at just about one minute, this is the longest trailer to emerge in recent days, and it reveals Barry rescuing Iris from a car crash. At the same time, the trailer teases Barry reaching his full potential as a hero, as Batman (Ben Affleck) tells him he'll have to run faster than ever before. Snyder shared the clip on social media, and it can be seen down below.

The Flash depicted in the theatrical Justice League scored mixed responses from fans, as many took issue with his constant quipping. As that detail was added by Whedon, it's all but guaranteed the Barry featured in the Snyder Cut will be a bit less wise-cracking. The above teaser promises a more solid origin story for him; Barry's the youngest member of the team, and this is likely his first brush with a major battle to save the world. Justice League is going to test him, and the teaser trailer does a good job of establishing that forthcoming growth.

After the Snyder Cut, Miller will return for 2022's The Flash. Production on that long-awaited solo film is expected to begin in the coming months, and it will adapt the beloved Flashpoint storyline from the comics. It'll also feature a slew of major DC characters, like Affleck's Batman and Supergirl (Sasha Calle). As it's been so long since fans last saw the DCEU's Flash in action, Justice League can help stir up further excitement for his solo movie, all while telling the story Snyder originally planned for him. Fans have gotten their taste up above, and they'll see the rest play out on HBO Max very soon.
