Zack Snyder's Justice League drops numerous hints of Lois Lane being pregnant. With the Snyder Cut now out for the world to see, viewers are examining and dissecting the film with the same fervor as any trailer or still image. One aspect of the movie that has garnered significant attention is the indications it offers that Clark Kent and Lois are now expecting a baby.

There's also no longer any ambiguity as to whether or not this is the case, with Zack Snyder himself confirming it. While Snyder's confirmation establishes Lois Lane's pregnancy as a fact, the movie itself alludes to it at several points. Indeed, the very first hint to it is a particularly strong one.

The biggest tease is the most obvious one; a scene in Lois' apartment shows her opening a drawer, with a pregnancy test clearly visible inside. This is shortly followed by a scene of Lois making her daily visit to the statue of Superman, demolished by Doomsday in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, to pay her respects to her deceased love. After a police officer Lois is acquainted with comments he didn't think she was coming, Lois hands him a coffee and keeps another for herself before saying, "One last time," as she'd need to drink less coffee if she's pregnant. Later, after the battle in Heroes Park in which the League tries to restrain the disoriented Superman, the arrival of Lois brings Clark back to his senses, but something that happens beforehand could also hint to Lois' pregnancy.

When Aquaman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Cyborg all appear before Superman, he scans the team with his X-ray vision, perhaps trying to determine if they pose a threat. Thereotically, Clark might have similarly examined Lois with his X-ray vision, discovereing that she was pregnant with his child and snapping him out of his post-resurrection stupor (which Snyder himself also alluded to in an interview with Cinemablend's ReelBlend Podcast). While he may have simply recognized Lois, that could have been the case for both Batman and Wonder Woman, too. Aquaman suggests Superman's reaction to Lois was just instinctual, and if he recognized a fetus bearing Kryptonain DNA, that's certainly something that would instinctually stop him in his tracks.

The final teases come after Bruce Wayne buys the bank and returns the Kent farm to Martha Ken. The film shows Clark, Lois, and Bruce Wayne helping her move back in. During this scene, Lois can be seen carrying a wicker baby basket as she and Martha walk into the house. Following Bruce's explanation that he "bought the bank" to make this happen, he follows up by telling Clark "Congratulations, by the way".

Lois being pregnant is also one more way in which the Snyder Cut sets up what Snyder's planned Justice League sequels would have been. Per Snyder, Justice League 3, as the concluding chapter of his intended five-movie arc, would have involved Lois and Clark naming their son Bruce Kent after Batman, though he would not have inherited Clark's Kryptonian abilities. Furthermore, with Bruce Wayne to have died a heroic death in the film, Bruce Kent would have become the new Batman.

With the Snyder Cut now unleashed, there are new cries to#RestoreTheSnyderVerse, but as of right now, Snyder says he doubts WB has an interest in completing his story. With that being said, the story after Zack Snyder's Justice League could still be told one day, as Snyder indicated he discussed the possibility of turning it into comics. With the hints the movie makes to Lois Lane's pregnancy, the Snyderverse ever see more installments, in any medium, Bruce Kent could still become the new Batman one day.
