A new trailer for the Snyder Cut of Justice League is coming next week according to Zack Snyder. It's been nearly three years to the day that Justice League was released in theaters. After Snyder walked away from the project in May 2017, Warner Bros. retooled the movie so it aligned with their hopes for the DC Extended Universe. This included mandating a two-hour run time and lightening the tone, and Joss Whedon was put in charge of Justice League's new direction. Fans quickly realized once the movie was released that it was far from Snyder's vision. This launched a fan campaign to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut and it finally became a reality.

Zack Snyder is in the middle of post-production on Justice League for the second time. This time he's assembling over four hours of footage for a miniseries that will air on HBO Max in 2021. Although Snyder released plenty of black and white images during the campaign, the first official look at the Snyder Cut arrived a few months ago. The trailer for Zack Snyder's Justice League highlighted many of the changes that the new cut will include, such as more characters and a new aspect ratio. However, the trailer was recently removed from official WB and HBO Max channels due to a music rights issue.

Now, Zack Snyder has confirmed that an updated trailer will be released next week on November 17th. This is the three-year anniversary of Justice League's theatrical release but also the one-year anniversary of the biggest push to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, one which saw the topic trend on Twitter and receive huge boosts with Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, and others offering their support. Snyder confirmed in an interview with Beyond the Trailer that it is mostly similar to the first trailer, but teased there might also be a few tweaks.

The initial release of the trailer that we're just going to put back up is going to be on the 17th. What I was going to do was do a live-stream on Vero, same way we did the Man of Steel live-stream and BvS live-stream. We're going to take the trailer and I'm going to break it down shot by shot, just go through it, do a Q&A, live questions about what does this shot mean and what went into making it and what it points toward... It's going to be really cool. You're going to see the trailer again and it might have a couple of tweaks.

Snyder went on to tentatively reveal the plans for when the trailer will drop and when his live-stream will happen. He estimated that both should happen around 9 am PST, but that plan is not confirmed at the moment. There will be an official announcement ahead of time once the time is locked into place, though, so fans should keep an eye on Snyder's social media channels to catch any adjustments that might be made. Fans will also be treated to the release of a "commemorative video" about the fan movement.

With the new trailer being released right after Justice League completed additional photography, it will be interesting to see if any of the new material could be incorporated into the footage. Fans are intrigued to see how Jared Leto's Joker and Joe Manganiello's Deathstroke are involved. But, they might not be shown to build up the suspense or if their scenes require VFX work that likely isn't already done. However, there could be other big moments that have completed special effects now that Snyder could be ready to reveal. Thankfully the new Justice League trailer will be out in just a few days.
