The Justice League Snyder Cut is coming to HBO Max in 2021, but the story could already be partially spoiled after all the leaks and from by Zack Snyder. Almost three years after Snyder left Justice League, the desire by fans to see his version of the movie is finally being realized. The wildly popular fan campaign to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut gained enough attention in late 2019 for WarnerMedia and HBO Max to begin figuring out how the Snyder Cut could be released. All of the details aren't known yet, but Zack Snyder's Justice League is officially on the way.

Although the push for the Snyder Cut was largely a fan-driven movement, Snyder did more than his fair share of building interest in his version of Justice League with dozens of teases. Whether it was by posting images on Vero or detailing the differences between his plan and what happened in the theatrical cut he never saw, Snyder provided a bounty of information on the Snyder Cut. The inclusion of Martian Manhunter and Green Lantern, how Darkseid originally played a part, background on Cyborg and Flash, and a different resurrection for Superman are just a few of the differences between the Snyder Cut and the version of Justice League already released.

With all of this information already out there (in addition to teases on what his plans for Justice League 2 were), the Snyder Cut is in the unique position where die-hard fans know several key plot points - some twists, too. These teases are responsible for generating more interest in the film, but now that the Snyder Cut is happening, is the entirety of Zack Snyder's Justice League already spoiled? On the surface it may seem like this is the case, but there is still a lot of uncertainty involved with the Snyder Cut that there should be room for Snyder to still surprise.

Most of the teases that Snyder has shared about Justice League are glimpses at a variety of moments that provide clues for where the story would go, but they mostly lack the proper context to get the full picture. It is known that Cyborg's father dies in the Snyder Cut, but the specifics of how it happens and what it means moving forward aren't. Similarly, the director has repeatedly teased Superman's resurrection was dramatically different in the Snyder Cut with the entire team going to his grave site and the inclusion of the Black Suit afterward, but exactly how Superman is brought back to life isn't known.

It's also worth mentioning that Snyder's films typically are littered with Easter eggs and foreshadowing that might only be caught on repeat viewings. Moments similar to the three crosses in Batman v Superman that foreshadow his plans for heroic sacrifices in Justice League sequels will likely be included in the Snyder Cut. But, Snyder has also only shown fans what he wants them to see and the possibility of Snyder Cut's additional photography happening opens up the door for him to add in even more surprises. Even without that possibility, the likelihood of Zack Snyder's Justice League spanning over four hours of material guarantees there is still a lot about the movie that has not been uncovered.
