Fresh Justice League Snyder Cut images tease the supposed debut of Martian Manhunter in the DCEU. Bits and pieces of information regarding director Zack Snyder's original plans for the film continue to make it online from varying sources. The latest of which gives fans a peek at the lead-up to the scrapped J’onn J’onzz introducion.

Hampered by a string of production woes, the biggest issue regarding Justice League stemmed from Snyder having to step away from the project due to personal tragedy leading to Joss Whedon taking over. The former MCU filmmaker manned extensive reshoots and post-production that left only 10% of his predecessor's original work in the movie's theatrical cut. Fans didn't miss this thanks to a truncated final version of the movie which prompted them to start the Release the Snyder Cut movement. The petition asks Warner Bros. to roll out Snyder's work prior to Whedon's involvement. The studio continues to remain mum, but this isn't discouraging supporters especially with Snyder on their side.

To keep the conversation regarding the Snyder Cut going, Snyder has been dropping information regarding his original vision for Justice League. The latest of which was a set of images revealing Martha Kent (Diane Lane) and Lois Lane (Amy Adams). Prior to this, the filmmaker debuted an image capturing this moment from a different angle. Check out the images posted on the filmmaker's official Vero account below:

This moment in the film takes place prior to the resurrection of Superman (Henry Cavill), while Lois continues to grieve his death. Based on what's been previously revealed from the Snyder Cut, it appears to be the moment leading up to Martain Manhunter's reveal in Justice League. As Snyder said several days ago during Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice's watch party, J’onzz already has an idea about the Man of Steel's existence on Earth. A previously rolled out story board reveal how the rest of this scene would've played out on the big screen. Martha visits Lois to offer some emotional support, after she leaves the unit, she transforms into Martian Manhunter before finally turning into General Swanwick (Harry Lennix).

All of this was scrapped from the final cut of Justice League, with Martha and Lois' only encounter prior to Clark's resurrection was when the former visited the latter in her office. This scene garnered criticism from a lot of Snyder fans given how it was shot like a TV series - a stark contrast to the filmmaker's trademark cinematic visuals. With this moment in the movie totally scrapped, it's curious if there's any chance that Warner Bros. will use this intended set-up by the time they're ready to introduce Martian Manhunted in the DCEU. At this point, their slate is stacked up until the end of 2022 so there's really no rush on their part to use the character. However, from the Release the Snyder Cut movement's perspective, this is further motivate to continue pushing for their goal.
