Gal Gadot has joined in on the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement to get Zack Snyder's version of Justice League released. There's been a lot of excitement recently over the possibility of finally getting to see what Snyder originally intended. Snyder left Justice League in early 2017 following the death of his daughter, which then allowed Warner Bros. and Joss Whedon to heavily change the movie he was making.

Since that point, a strong contingent of fans have pushed for WB to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut, but many actors involved with Justice League have championed this movement as well. Jason Momoa has been one of the more vocal members of the Justice League cast and has confirmed he's seen the cut. Meanwhile, Ray Fisher has repeatedly stood by Snyder's vision. In the midst of a giant push for the cause tied to the two year anniversary of the film's theatrical release, now Wonder Woman herself is showing support.

Taking to Instagram, Gal Gadot gave her support for Snyder's version of Justice League being released. She shared a new image from the cut of Diana Prince standing in front of a van (which matches scenes from Superman's grave in the Snyder Cut) and made her intentions clear with a simple #ReleaseTheSnyderCut caption.

Gadot advocating for WB to release the Snyder Cut could be a significant development in this ongoing saga. She has strong ties to Snyder's vision as he was the one who cast her to play the role, even though many didn't believe that she could believably play the part. She's not only been a great Wonder Woman, but she's arguably become the face of the entire DC franchise. That is what makes her support of the Snyder Cut in this public way feel all the more substantial. It's possible that the timing of Gadot's support is part of an approved campaign by WB to build hype in the leadup to an official announcement, or this could be her using social media to boost awareness on her own.

If the Snyder Cut is released by WB, then Gadot and fans will then be treated to a more epic story for her Wonder Woman. Through all of the details that have come out, we know that Diana is central to Snyder's original history lesson scene and learning of Darkseid's previous attempt to conquer Earth. This new image also supports her presence at Superman's grave, which could be tied to Snyder's plans for Superman's resurrection. But, it has also became clear recently that she would be part of a better finale and be the one responsible for killing Steppenwolf. Whether or not any of this will be seen still rests in WB's hands, though, so only time will tell if the Snyder Cut of Justice League is released.
