Ray Fisher wants Warner Bros. to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse after Zack Snyder's Justice League. Fisher plays Victor Stone, aka Cyborg, in the DCEU, first appearing briefly in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before becoming a key player in Justice League. The DCEU was really Fisher's big break in Hollywood, but he has never been afraid to make his voice heard. Fans had been petitioning to see the Snyder Cut of Justice League ever since Joss Whedon's version hit theaters, and Fisher himself was a big supporter of the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement.

Now, fans are finally getting the Snyder cut in the form of an HBO max mini-series, but they also want to restore the SnyderVerse. This is basically referring to Snyder's original five movie plan that was unfortunately cut short due to a family tragedy. Snyder originally planned to give Superman a 5 movie arc, which many people believe would have ended with Justice League 2 and Justice League 3. Fans will likely never get to see his full vision up on the big screen, especially after Warner Bros basically called the Snyder Cut a dead-end saying it was a "storytelling cul-de-sac."

Warner Bros.' recent comments on the Snyder Cut have fueled the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse movement, and Fisher is in full support. Fisher recently took to Twitter to share his opinion, saying that whatever movie fans want to be canon should be canon. Fisher's original tweet can be seen below:

While fans would clearly be down to see more of Snyder's work in the DCEU, Snyder has denied rumors of Justice League 2. At this point, Whedon's Justice League is still considered canon, with the Snyder Cut said to take place in another universe. It certainly wouldn't be impossible for Warner Bros. to continue with Snyder's storyline since 2017's theatrical release of Justice League was so panned, but Warner Bros. has taken a different path in recent years with their DC shared universe. Rather than generating an interwoven cinematic universe as Marvel has successfully done, Warner Bros. has been more focused on stand-alone passion projects like Todd Phillips' Joker and Matt Reeves' upcoming The Batman. While all DC films could be considered canon thanks to the multiverse being introduced, it's clear that Warner Bros. is less concerned with big team-up films at this point.

It may seem unlikely that Snyder will get to continue his vision after the Snyder Cut hits HBO Max, but it's certainly not impossible. The fan demand was so strong during the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement that Warner Bros. decided it would be worth the risk, especially to get more HBO Max subscribers. Should the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse generate enough steam and the Snyder Cut perform well on HBO Max, it may be something that Warner Bros. at least considers. Also, having the main cast of Justice League speak out like Fisher has done is certainly another way to get Warner Bros.' attention.
