Justice League actor Ray Fisher, who played Victor Stone/Cyborg in the movie, today accused the former head of DC Entertainment, Geoff Johns, of threatening his career. Though DC Extended Universe fans had high hopes for Justice League when it was released in 2017, the film ended up being a disappointment. It under performed at the box office, and many criticized its story, villain, and other elements as well. This result was partly chalked up to Joss Whedon finishing the movie after director Zack Snyder departed the project. Whedon made changes during reshoots that drastically altered the final result from Snyder's original vision.

Many Justice League actors, especially Fisher, have championed Snyder and his mission to release his cut of the film, which will finally debut next year on HBO Max. However, in the process of voicing his support for Snyder, Fisher has discussed serious issues he claims he experienced during the project, particularly after Snyder departed. Last month, he slammed Whedon for his "gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable" treatment of the cast and crew. However, in the same tweet, Fisher claimed Whedon "was enabled" by Johns and producer Jon Berg. Since then, he has continued to speak out about his time working on Justice League, again calling Johns and Berg "enablers" and saying Whedon should be "scared" of the Justice League reshoot details.

Now, Fisher has again mentioned Johns specifically, in a new message posted on Twitter. In it, he discusses an interaction that took place in Johns' office, accusing the former DC boss of threatening his career at the time:

Though Whedon and Johns haven't responded to Fisher's worrying comments about his experience on Justice League, Berg did soon after Fisher's initial accusation. He denied the claims of enabling unprofessional behavior and claimed Fisher was bothered about being asked to say "Booyaa, which is Cyborg's catchphrase in the animated series Teen Titans and its spinoff Teen Titans Go!. It remains to be seen if this latest statement from Fisher directly aimed at Johns will finally result in a response.

Fisher's claim that Johns threatened his career is arguably the biggest takeaway from his latest accusation and one of the most definitive statements he's made. Fisher names one specific interaction, rather than speaking to a general experience, which may cause more people to pay attention to his claims. Additionally, if others at DC had similar experiences, this may be the push they need to come forward. In the meantime, it's clear Fisher will continue to speak out about his experience on Justice League to the best of his ability, even if it means calling out some very powerful people.
