Gameplay footage has arrived for the upcoming Justice League VR experience that will put fans into the world of the movie. In just a couple more months, the heroes of the DCEU will join forces to stop an otherwordly threat. Considering this is the first time the team has been brought to life in live-action, anticipation is high for the film's arrival. However, as fans await the release of another trailer for the film, marketing for Justice League has continued in a number of exciting ways.
One of the biggest promotional tools for Justice League is a brand-new virtual reality game that will be out this fall. Dubbed Justice League VR: The Complete Experience, the game will allow players to take control of Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg for a mission unique to each hero. A preview for the game is out now, and the full version will follow the movie's release. Now, we have our first look at what it's like to play as each of these DC heroes.
YouTube user Bounty Hunter has uploaded gameplay footage of Justice League VR: The Complete Experience, letting fans see what each mission will look like. Things kick off with the player as Bruce Wayne, where you're able to look around the Batcave from the movie. From there, it's off to the streets of Gotham for a high-speed chase in the Batmobile. Other missions will involve the Flash disarming a bomb, Cyborg fighting drones, and Wonder Woman battling Parademons.
Most exciting, however, might be Aquaman's mission. While the other heroes have relatively normal assaults, Aquaman will be fighting a leviathan from the deep sea. Though the game isn't said to be canon to the film, it could hint that more of Aquaman's world will be explored in the movie. We've heard rumor that the monsters of the Trench will appear in Aquaman (the solo DCEU movie, that is), but it would certainly be thrilling to see the King of Atlantis face down a giant beast in Justice League too.
Unfortunately, the sixth member of the League will be sitting the game out. There is, however, an 'Inactive' option for Superman, hinting he could be playable in the game once the film is released. There's even a chance players will be able to control the character in his new black suit, which seems more and more likely to appear in Justice League. In the meantime, plenty of merchandise is coming to stores to hold fans over until Justice League arrives.
