Justice League Snyder Cut teaser shows footage of the new post-resurrection Superman. Earlier this year, it was confirmed the Snyder Cut would premiere on HBO Max in 2021, marking the ultimate victory for the Release the Snyder Cut movement. Ever since it became clear Justice League's 2017 theatrical cut was a far cry from Snyder's original vision, fans passionately campaigned for the director's version, illustrating to Warner Bros. there was a sizable audience for the project. And with the studio launching the HBO Max streaming service, the Snyder Cut gave them a flagship title to draw in subscribers.

Snyder's been gearing up for Justice League's DC FanDome panel this weekend, where the film's first trailer will premiere. And while there are only a couple of days left until the convention takes place, viewers can now get a small taste of what to expect with a new Snyder Cut teaser.

Snyder took to Twitter to share the new Justice League promo, which gives a new look at his post-resurrection Superman. Take a look at it in the space below:

In addition to Superman, the other character prominently featured in this teaser is a pre-Cyborg Victor Stone, seen celebrating during a football game. It's noteworthy these two are spotlighted in the video, considering how drastically their roles were altered when Joss Whedon took over for the Justice League reshoots. In Snyder's eyes, Cyborg actor Ray Fisher is the heart of the movie, and the character initially had an impactful arc before the movie was changed and Cyborg was hardly fleshed out. It'll be interesting to see Superman and Cyborg in the Snyder Cut. The latter in particular should mark a substantial improvement, as audiences will be treated to Victor's backstory and get a more complete picture of who he is. As for Superman, the sheer number of reshoots involving the infamous CGI-removed mustache suggests his Justice League story is wildly different in the Snyder Cut.

Another interesting detail in the trailer is the title is stylized with the Justice League logo and #TheSnyderCut. This is more evidence that Warner Bros. is going with Snyder Cut as the movie's official name. Previously, The Snyder Cut was listed on the DC FanDome schedule. When the project was first announced, it was introduced to the world as Zack Snyder's Justice League, but it appears the creative team has gone in a slightly different direction. Regardless, this title is definitely fitting since it clearly communicates the new Justice League is Snyder's uncompromised vision.
